❗OPEN CALL❗
📣 Calling all migrant women living in Estonia! 📣
Are you an expat, refugee, asylum seeker, migrant entrepreneur, international spouse, or newcomer in Estonia?
This is an opportunity to share your lived experience and have your story considered for a curated feature at the People’s Museum of Tallinn (Tallinna Rahvaste Muuseum).
We invite migrant women from diverse backgrounds to share their raw, honest, and personal narratives, which reflect the realities of migration, integration, resilience, and their contributions to the modern Estonian society.
✨ Participants are invited to respond to the following questions:
✅a) Why did you come to Estonia?
✅b) What struggles or challenges have you faced while living and integrating here?
✅c) How have you navigated or overcome these challenges?
(If you feel well-integrated, describe the practical steps, actions, or strategies that supported your integration.
If integration is still ongoing, share the barriers or obstacles you face.)
✅d) What is your contribution to Estonian society?
(e.g. business ownership, cultural work, education, caregiving, volunteering, creative practice, community-building, etc.)
✅e) Any additional reflections that are meaningful to your journey.
