A striking anterior segment finding in this patient:
- Iris coloboma.
- Superior lens subluxation.
- Stretched, visible lens zonules.
These findings may point to a congenital structural defect involving the iris and zonular apparatus.

Chemical burns
Stevens-Johnson syndrome
Cicatricial pemphigoid
Post-surgical or traumatic scarring

โ€ข Clinical Impact:
Restricted eye movement
Fornix shortening
Chronic irritation or dryness

- Autosomal dominant inheritance
- Onset in early childhood
- Central stromal white opacities
- โ€œBreadcrumbโ€ appearance with clear intervening stroma
- Gradual visual decline over time
- TGFBI gene mutation
- Hyaline deposits (Masson trichrome positive)
- No epithelial staining with fluorescein

โ€ข Treatment: PTK or keratoplasty in advanced cases
