أعلن الاتحاد المصري للخماسي الحديث برئاسة المهندس شريف العريان مشاركة ٤٢ دولة في بطولة كأس العالم للخماسي الحديث ٢٠٢٦ «المرحلة الأولى»، والمقرر إقامتها على ملاعب ستاد القاهرة الدولي خلال الفترة من ٧ إلى ١٣ أبريل، بمشاركة نحو ٤٠٠ لاعب ولاعبة.
وتستضيف مصر المرحلة الأولى من البطولة، على أن تُقام المرحلة الثانية في بلغاريا، والثالثة في المجر، فيما تستضيف المجر نهائي البطولة.
The Egyptian Modern Pentathlon Federation, headed by Sherif El-Erian, announced the participation of 42 countries in the first stage of the 2026 Modern Pentathlon World Cup, set to take place at Cairo International Stadium from April 7 to 13, with around 400 athletes competing.
Egypt will host the opening stage, followed by the second stage in Bulgaria and the third in Hungary, while Hungary will also host the final.
