HerStory Films is hiring a full-time “Film Incubator Program Manager”!
As a Film Incubator Program Manager, your role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the film incubator program, from strategic planning to program ex*****on.
You will lead a team with a coordinator and assistant, working closely with participants, mentors, industry professionals, and organizational stakeholders to ensure the program's success.
Your primary goal is to create an environment that nurtures emerging filmmakers and enables them to develop and produce high-quality films.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and refine the program’s vision, curriculum, and strategy.
• Team Leadership and Management.
• Provide hands-on support to program participants.
• Build partnerships with industry professionals and organizations.
• Organize workshops, mentorships, and networking opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in film studies, communications, arts administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in program management or leadership roles, preferably in the film or arts industry.
• Strong knowledge of the film industry, including current trends, emerging talent, and production processes.
• 3-5 years experience in similar position.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in budget management and grant writing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using productivity tools and software, such as Microsoft Office and project management platforms.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
