One of the few places on the planet where a town sits literally inside the massive crater of an extinct volcano - El Valle de Anton was truly special.

And special thanks to Flaka, the hostel dog, who guided us through the dark before dawn and showed us the narrow path up the crater wall 🐶🐾

Great to be back in Panama 🇵🇦

4 years ago, I crossed Panama on foot from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast, in 3 days and through the jungle.

This time taking a different path, I'm aiming to cross the length of the country, eventually making my way towards the Darién Gap.

One of the greenest countries on Earth, where I reunited with a Serbian-Swiss friend I met 3 years ago (she'll tell you she's Mexican, don't believe her 😜). We rented an apartment on a hill overlooking the forest & Pacific, and spotted a lot of wildlife in the nature reserve. Great start in Costa Rica 🦥
