The Twic Mayardit Sports fraternity in Egypt have appointed Hon. Adhar Powut Barach Atem as the President of the newly established Twic Mayardit Peace Tournament in Egypt.

Powut is believed to be a leader of great character and integrity as the right person to lead TMPT in Egypt.

Historically, He was the first captain of the Adiang Mayomdit Football Team during the Twic Olympics from 2000 to 2003 and In addition to, he served as the second Sports Manager of Wunrok Payam currently known as Adiang Mayomdit Football Teamโ€”from 2004 to 2006.

He played for El Merriekh Young Star Academy in Al Gezira, Sudan, from 1998 to 1999. Adhar is a passionate football enthusiast who also served as the sports secretary at Mayen Abun Secondary School, not only that, he is also an excellent referee for both football and volleyball.

The Sports lovers and fans wish him a successful leadership in his new role as a president of TMPT in Egypt as he prepare to conduct the first edition in the nearest weeks, 2025
