A Great Wealth from Bahrain… Not Even One Coin Remained | Sahih al-Bukhari
Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, received a large amount of wealth from Bahrain. He ordered it to be spread out in the mosque, then after the prayer, he sat beside it and began distributing it among the people without keeping anything for himself.
Al-Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, came and received some of the wealth. When he asked the Prophet to order someone to help carry it, the Prophet refused. He did not give Al-Abbas special treatment simply because he was his relative.
Al-Abbas then carried what he was able to carry himself. In the end, not even one coin remained.
This powerful hadith teaches us about honesty, justice, generosity, and freedom from attachment to worldly wealth.

Why Are Hadiths Repeated in Sahih al-Bukhari? | Different Narrators & Contexts
Why do some hadiths appear more than once in Sahih al-Bukhari? Is this repetition without a purpose?
In this video, we explain why a hadith may be repeated. It may be narrated by a different Companion, transmitted with different wording, or presented in a different context or situation. Imam al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, could also include the same hadith in different chapters because it contains several important lessons and rulings.
Therefore, similar hadiths should not be judged only by the similarity of their words. Each narration may provide additional details or highlight a different aspect of the Prophet Muhammad's teachings, peace and blessings be upon him.

Some viewers may notice that certain hadiths are repeated in Sahih al-Bukhari and may wonder: Why is the same hadith mentioned more than once?

The repetition of a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari is natural and is not repetition without purpose.

A hadith may be narrated by another Companion, transmitted with different wording, or mentioned in a different context. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, may also have said or demonstrated something related to the same meaning on a different occasion.

Imam al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, also included some hadiths in more than one chapter because a single hadith can contain several important lessons, rulings, and benefits.

Therefore, when you come across a hadith that appears more than once in Sahih al-Bukhari, do not look only at the similarity of the words. Pay attention to the narrator, wording, context, occasion, and the benefit that Imam al-Bukhari intended to highlight.

This is part of the precision of hadith scholarship and the careful methodology Imam al-Bukhari used when compiling and organizing his collection.

The repetition of a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari is not meaningless repetition; it may reveal a different narration, context, occasion, or important lesson.
