Position is:
Job Title: Software Quality Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance / Software Development
Location: Remote
Reports To: Software Engineering Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute software test plans (manual and automated).
Ensure software products meet quality standards and functional requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, devops).
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality best practices.
Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and scripts.
Good understanding of databases and writing SQL queries.
Programming skills in at least one language (e.g., C #, Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
