🎬 The Port Said International Film Festival is now opening its call for volunteers, welcoming university students and recent graduates to be part of the organizing team for its inaugural edition, taking place September 18–22, 2025.

We are looking for enthusiastic applicants with a passion for cinema and culture, and a genuine team spirit.

ببالغ الحزن والأسى، ينعي مهرجان بورسعيد السينمائي مدير التصوير المبدع تيمور تيمور، الذي ترك بصمة لا تُمحى، ليس فقط بإبداعه في عالم السينما والدراما، بل أيضًا بإنسانيته وطيب قلبه.

كان تيمور حاضرًا دائمًا بابتسامته وطاقته الإيجابية، ناشرًا للأمل والبهجة، وداعمًا للمواهب الجديدة، وصديقًا حقيقيًا لكل من حوله.

تخليدًا لاسمه، يطلق المهرجان “جائزة تيمور تيمور لأفضل تصوير سينمائي”، ليبقى اثره حاضرًا في ذاكرة الفن والسينما.

رحم الله تيمور وأسكنه فسيح جناته.

With deep sorrow, the Port Said International Film Festival mourns the passing of the talented cinematographer Taimour Taimour, who left an indelible mark not only through his exceptional work in cinema and drama but also through his humanity and kind heart.

Taimour was always present with his smile and positive energy, spreading hope and joy, supporting emerging talents, and being a true friend to everyone around him.

In honor of his legacy, the festival is launching the “Taimour Taimour Award for Best Cinematography”, ensuring that his impact continues to shine in the world of art and cinema.

The Port Said International Film Festival extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the esteemed actor Lotfy Labib, as well as to his fans and lovers of the cinematic arts, on the passing of a great artistic figure who left an unforgettable mark on the history of Egyptian cinema. يعلن مهرجان بورسعيد السينمائي الدولي عن تنظيم مجموعة ورش تمثيل وماستر كلاس مجانية بالكامل، تحت إشراف أحمد تمام، أول “كاستينج دايركتور” يُعتمد رسميًا بهذا اللقب في مصر والعالم العربي، ومؤسس أول شركة متخصصة في الكاستينج بالمنطقة، وصاحب خبرة تتجاوز 100 عمل فني.

🔹 تُقام الورشة بمشاركة مجموعة من مدربي التمثيل المحترفين من ستوديو تركواز (Turquoise Studio)، المتخصص في تدريب وتطوير أداء الممثلين.
•⁠ ⁠أحمد خيري – تكنيك لي ستراسبيرغ (Lee Strasberg Technique)
•⁠ ⁠حاتم رضا – تكنيك ميسنر (Meisner Technique)
•⁠ ⁠عمرو علاء – تكنيك ميسنر (Meisner Technique)
•⁠ ⁠أحمد شريف – تكنيك مايكل تشيخوف (Michael Chekhov Technique)

Port Said International Film Festival is proud to announce a series of completely free Acting Workshops and Masterclasses, led by Ahmed Tammam, the first officially recognized Casting Director in Egypt and the Arab world, founder of the region’s first specialized casting company, and with over 100 artistic works to his credit.

🔹 The workshop will be held in collaboration with a group of professional acting coaches from Turquoise Studio, a studio specialized in training and developing actors’ performance:
•⁠ ⁠Ahmed Khairy – Lee Strasberg Technique
•⁠ ⁠Hatem Reda – Meisner Technique
•⁠ ⁠Amr Alaa – Meisner Technique
•⁠ ⁠Ahmed Sherif – Michael Chekhov Technique

These workshops aim to support and develop the skills of young actors and prepare them to successfully pass casting auditions.

تُعلن إدارة مهرجان بورسعيد السينمائي برئاسة الناقد السينمائي أحمد عسر عن اختيار المنتج الكبير هشام سليمان رئيسًا شرفيًا للدورة المقبلة، التي تُقام في الفترة من 18 إلى 22 سبتمبر، وتحمل اسم النجم الراحل محمود ياسين.

يأتي هذا الاختيار تقديرًا لمسيرته الثرية وإسهاماته البارزة في صناعة السينما والإنتاج الفني، ودعمه المتواصل للمواهب الشابة والفن الجاد في مصر والوطن العربي.

Port Said Film Festival administration, headed by film critic Ahmed Asser, announces the selection of renowned producer Hesham Soliman as the Honorary President of the upcoming edition, which will be held from September 18 to 22 and will carry the name of the late star Mahmoud Yassin.

This choice comes in recognition of his rich career and remarkable contributions to the film and media industry, as well as his continuous support for young talents and meaningful art in Egypt and the Arab world.

تعلن ادارة المهرجان برئاسة الناقد السينمائي احمد عسر عن اختيار المخرج الكبير علي بدرخان رئيسًا للجنة الاستشارية العليا للدورة الأولى من المهرجان، والتي تنطلق في الفترة من 18 إلى 22 سبتمبر بمدينة بورسعيد، وتحمل اسم النجم الكبير محمود ياسين.

خطوة جديدة نحو انطلاقة تليق بتاريخ الفن المصري وبمدينة بورسعيد العريقة. 🎬🇪🇬
