📣 🤖 Companies dedicated to in Catalonia triple in 5 years

According to a recent Government study through ACCIÓ, 'Artificial Intelligence in Catalonia', the region has almost 500 companies working with AI. This is almost 3x as many from the previous study, undertaken in 2019.

More key interesting stats:
🚀 Almost half (44%) are
📈 These companies turnover €2.1B, up 60% in 5 years, with the main sector being services & industry and the main usage machine learning and AI platforms
💼 This includes 14,500 jobs (+70%)
🌎 Catalonia has attracted €475M foreign investment in AI between 2019–2023
🤝 ACCIÓ has supported 253 Catalan AI projects since 2017, totaling €16M in aid
