Many thanks to Olly from Defstar for sending me these gems so I could test them and have more memories for life. The press tests sound spectacular, they’re truly insane.
[ROTV017] Vinyltrixta - This Old Heart EP
We’re all used to this artist’s breakbeat and 4x4 style, but he’ll never cease to amaze us. I can say that, at least for me, it’s his best vinyl yet.
My favorite track is “This Old Heart,” a true work of art that conveys so much feeling. Congratulations, and keep creating gems...!!!
ROTV018] Stuart Chapman + Nee & Wendy Vs Core Dimension - Feel the Freedom EP
Another great album... 4 tracks, 2 of which are breakbeat-style.
On the first side, I’m left with “Stu Chapman + Neil Spicer & Wendy - Music,” piano melodies and stab-driven changes that take you straight to the rave.
On the other hand, I prefer “Core Dimension - Freedom,” a very harmonious and distinctive style of this artist, with piano melodies and arpeggios that make you soar, along with a bass line that makes your chest vibrate.
