Most DJs don't have a posting problem. They have a brand problem.
You can hand your social to someone else, but if you don't understand your own brand, no amount of posting fixes it. The reach still goes nowhere. The bookings still don't come.
That's why we built Amplify.
It's done with you, not done for you. Every month you get a personalised content plan built around your sound, your bookings and your goals. Plus the brand foundations most DJs skip completely. Bio, positioning, visual identity, messaging.
You stay in control. We give you the strategy, the structure and the direction.
It's for DJs who are serious about growth but want to learn how to do it properly, not just outsource it and hope.
€150 a month. Cancel any time.

Most posts fail before they even start.
Not because the content is bad.
Because it's missing the formula.
I've been studying social media for over 10 years.
Running an agency. Testing what works. Watching what spreads.
And every post that goes viral every single one hits these 5 things:

Surfable → riding a conversation that already exists
Story-driven → a specific moment that makes it stick
Strong hook → the first 1.7 seconds decide everything
Shareable → it makes people look good when they share it
Saveable → it gives them a reason to come back

The good news?
This isn't luck. It's a formula.
And now you have it.
Save this post. Come back to it before you write your next caption.

Then when you're ready to go deeper, the link in my bio has the full framework.
Story → Ex*****on → Transaction. The formula behind every piece of content that converts.

Your event post is half dead before the night even sells out.
New 2026 research just dropped on how long a social post actually lives. It tracked 5.6 million posts across every major platform.
Here is how long a post takes to lose half its total engagement:

Facebook: 86 minutes
Instagram: just over 18 hours
TikTok: basically instant
YouTube: 10+ days
Pinterest: nearly 4 months

Read that again.
Your Facebook event post has given up half its reach inside an hour and a half. That flyer you spent all afternoon on is fighting for its life before you have finished your coffee.
This is why "I posted about the gig once" never fills the room.
One post is not a campaign. It is a candle in a hurricane.
The brands selling out shows are not posting more talent. They are posting more often, in the right places, with content built to outlive a Facebook post's 86 minute shelf life.
That is the whole game. Not viral. Consistent.

I keep seeing the same thing happen.
Venue owners, promoters and DJs doing everything they were told to do. Posting daily. Chasing trends. Still watching the same 40 people like every post while the room stays half full.
The problem isn't effort. The platforms changed the rules and nobody sent the memo.
So I'm starting something. A new weekly series where I break down what's actually hot in social media right now, made specifically for entertainment and events brands. No generic marketing speak. No advice that could apply to a plumber or an accountant. Just what's moving the needle for people trying to put bums on seats.
Episode one is live now.
This week I get into why Instagram has started burying accounts that repost other people's content, why your own gig clips are suddenly worth more than ever, and the one ranking signal that now beats likes for reaching new faces.
Five minutes. Straight talking. Every week.
If you run a night, a venue, a festival or your own DJ brand, this series is built for you.

Most DJs and event brands are losing on Threads and it's for one simple reason. They're treating it like Instagram. 🧵
Same posts. Same polished graphics. Same captions copy-pasted across every platform. Then they wonder why nothing lands.
Here's what changed everything for me 👇
I stopped broadcasting and started conversations. Five days a week, I posted simple questions I knew DJs would want to weigh in on:
→ "Name the label you'd buy from blind back in the day." (200 comments)
→ "Best remix that beat the original. Not close, just the one." (179 comments)

No fancy edits. No reels. Just opinions worth replying to.
The result? 50K views in 30 days, interactions through the roof, and the follower count climbed off the back of it all on an account that was basically flat before.
Because every platform has a different job:

Instagram is the stage. Threads is the conversation.

Different audience. Different needs. Different content.
That's the whole game. Stop posting at people and start posting with them.

We help event brands and DJs turn talent into a brand that gets booked, followed and paid.

Two DJs and one amazing videographer / photographer flew to Spain for four days of brand building and DJ work.
Four days of focused work on brand identity, booking strategy, press kits, and content creation strategies.
Both came in with talent. Both left with a clear picture of how to turn that talent into bookings.
If you're a DJ looking for maximum growth and clarity around social media, remember this It's never just about the skill. It's always about the distribution.
Waitlist for the next retreat is open now for October/November 2026 and May 2027.

Instagram just added a teleprompter to Reels.
No more ums. No more forgetting your point halfway through.
Paste your script, set the speed, hit record. Game changer for talking-head content.

Just about recovered from the retreat last weekend, four days in Estepona, and I want to tell you why this retreat worked the way it did.
We had a small group of DJs in the villa, and here's the thing I love most. Everyone was at a completely different stage, and that was exactly the point.
One was earlier in the journey, building a brand from the ground up and figuring out how they want to show up. Another is already booked most weekends, and came to tidy up the professional side of her Instagram and get sharper on the business side of being a DJ.
On paper those look like two very different problems. In practice they needed the same thing.

Here’s what most DJs get wrong. They treat their brand as something you only worry about when you're trying to break into the scene. The truth is it keeps working whether you're starting out or fully booked. It is never finished, and the DJs who keep growing are the ones who treat it as part of the job.
So over four days we worked on the stuff that matters at any stage. Profiles and press kits that make promoters take you seriously. Filmed sets with feedback on how you show up, not just how you mix. And everyone left with a 30-day plan so nothing fizzles out the second they got home.
There were sunrise beach walks. Long lunches by the pool. Food out in Estepona and Marbella where I got to play. It was work, but it never felt like hard work.

I'll share more photos this week. The official video is back Tuesday (hopefully) and I genuinely can't wait for you to see it.

Whether you're just starting or booked solid, when did you last actually look at how your brand comes across?

Most people check the likes. The real story is in the numbers they ignore.
This is a 33-second reel we posted for Funky Dory last week. Brand New Block on camera, talking about Henley Regatta. Here's what the analytics actually show:
11,473 views 91.5% from non-followers 36.1% skip rate (their average is 62.1%) 13 seconds average watch time (39% of the video) 30 profile visits 30 new followers (100% profile-to-follow conversion)
If you're still measuring success by likes, you're missing the story. Skip rate tells you if your hook works. Non-follower percentage tells you if your reach is real. Profile-to-follow tells you if your brand matches your content.

If reading analytics like this feels like too much, you're not alone. Most business owners didn't sign up to be data analysts. We run these numbers every month for our clients at Rockin Social, then build the content strategy around what the data actually says. If you want someone in your corner doing this for you, send us a DM.
