I was literally about to throw this plastic bottle away…

Now it looks like a little luxury planter from a beach café in southern California

Would you keep this on your patio or balcony?

No screws. No nails. No concrete mix.

Just stacked white blocks and dropped pine beams across them. The whole thing took an afternoon and zero power tools.

Everyone keeps asking if I hired someone. I didn't even change out of my gym clothes.

Try telling me that's not a glow up 👀

Poured the concrete. Pressed the stamp. Waited for it to cure.
Then the sun went down and I understood why I built this.
The ground lights were a last-minute decision. Best one I made.
Now every evening ends here 🌙
Would you add something like this to your garden?

Cardboard from an Amazon box. A plastic plate. Half a bag of cement.

Peeling that cardboard off was the best part — every single ridge transferred perfectly.

It looks like something from a design store but it came from my patio table on a Tuesday afternoon ☀️

What would you plant in it?

We built it. Then we ate next to it.
Prawns, fish, rosemary, open fire.
This is what a weekend project looks like when it works 🔥🍷

An old tire. A cliff. A view I'll never get tired of.
Painted it terracotta, hung it from the pergola, added a linen cushion.
Took one afternoon.
Now this is where my evenings go 🍷
Would you sit here?

A glue gun, some wire, a piece of driftwood from the beach, and an afternoon I'll never get back.

Every flower is hand-shaped from hot glue with a tiny pink LED inside. When you turn the lights off it looks like the branch is blooming in the dark.

I was not expecting that last shot. Neither will you.

Save this for a rainy Sunday 🌸

My friend flew in from San Diego and I put her to work immediately.

She thought she was coming for sangria and beach days. Instead she got a shovel and a pond liner.

Two days, two women, one backyard that will never look the same.

We did get the sangria though. Right next to the fire pit we built together 🔥
