BIDASOA’S FAULT

That's what we read in some newspapers, this is what various media told us: Bidasoa, the murderous river, a death trap... As if a stream of water that is born in the splashes of Xorroxin and flows into the sea between Hondarribia and Hendaia had some responsibility in the future of human beings. They die in Bidasoa, but they are murdered by the racist rules and laws imposed by our political leaders.

It is unlikely that anyone would put his life in danger if it was not necessary. Who would think of jumping into the stream without knowing how to swim, if they had the right to walk across? Who would sleep on the train tracks?

The responsibility is ours. Firstly lies with the public officials who block their path, but also with all of us who accept those laws that block their path and do nothing to change them.

May the names of Tessif Temzide, Yaya Karamoko, Abdoulaye Koulibaly, Sohaibou Billa, Ibrahima Diallo, Abderraman Bah, Mohamed Kenal, Fayçal Hamadouche and Ahmed Belhiredjen forbid us to sleep. We steal their dream.

BIDASOA OMEN
Hala irakurri dugu zenbait egunkaritan, horrela kontatu digu hainbat hedabidek: Bidasoa, ibai hiltzailea, tranpa hilkorra... Xorroxingo zipriztinetan hasi eta Hondarribia eta Hendaia artean itsasoratzen den ur emari batek gizakion bilakaeran ardurarik izango balu bezala. Bidasoan hiltzen dira, baina gure arduradun politikoek ezarritako arau eta lege arrazistek hiltzen dituzte.

Nekez jarriko du bizitza arriskuan beharrik ez duenak. Zubi gainetik oinez pasatzeko eskubidea izanik, nori bururatzen zaio, igerian jakin gabe, errekara jauzi egitea? Nori burdin bidean lo egitea?

Geurea da ardura. Bidea ixten dieten arduradun publikoena lehenik, baina bada ere, bidea oztopatzen dieten lege horiek onartu eta aldatzeko deus egiten ez dugun guztiona.

Tessif Temzide, Yaya Karamoko, Abdoulaye Koulibaly, Sohaibou Billa, Ibrahima Diallo, Abderraman Bah, Mohamed Kenal, Fayçal Hamadouche eta Ahmed Belhiredjen izenek loa galarazi diezaigutela. Guk ametsa lapurtu genien.

Gaua da. Lagun kuadrila bat gerturatu da geltokira, hesiaren gainetik jauzi egin eta nasara gerturatu dira. Argi asko d**o geltokian ezkutuan ibili nahi duenarentzat. Alde batera begiratu, beste aldera begiratu, eta banku batean eseri da hirukote bat; Ez diote deus esan elkarri. Badakite joana dela azken trena.
