a 2025 memory I forgot to post 💜

I’ve always loved toi-et-moi (two of us) engagement rings, but when I found and their Celestra collection, I knew I wanted to expand on the toi-et-moi idea with Rara’s designs. When I first reached out to Rara about a custom, they hadn’t done an engagement ring before, but they blew me away.

8 band stones representing something about us:
- left: a blue/grey paraiba oval tourmaline & a brown oval tourmaline, representing his + hers eye colors
- right: a pink round ruby & a fire-y orange oval sapphire, representing his + hers birth stone colors
- back four: pale yellow oval sapphire, light grass green oval tourmaline, dark olive green heart-shaped sapphire, and milky white triangle-shaped sapphire, each representing elements of a story meaningful to us

The concept of timelessness comes up a lot for engagement rings but I’ve never been one to stay on the “safe side” when it comes to my personal style. My ring feels like both ancient magic and modern to me, and what could be more timeless than something ancient.
Above all, what makes it most “timeless” to me is the deeper meanings hidden in the design, and how I always think of Chris when I look at it 💗

And yes, I designed my own ring! And no, it did not make it less special.

9. I was so envious of these kids going to sailing summer camp on the lake 😭 my summer camp experience was so terrible compared to this
10-12. rented a paddle boat to go out on the lake. definitely recommend renting one from a quieter area of the lake rather than near the town, the place we went to was called La Flotille
