The UK blues scene is one of the strongest anywhere.
Great musicians, tight live acts, and a real respect for the roots of the music.
At the same time, here in Spain and Portugal there are fantastic small venues with audiences who genuinely appreciate live blues.
But there’s a disconnect.
Not many UK artists make it over here—especially the duos and trios that would be perfect for these clubs.
And that’s a missed opportunity on both sides.
