SFERA, the experience!!

It is a reactive sound and light installation shaped like a hemisphere reflected in a mirror matrix, made from 315 vintage LED bulbs and controlled in real-time by custom generative software that activates light and sound patterns in perfect synchronization.

Sfera draws you in!

LED bulbs, arranged in a mesmerizing semispherical configuration, elegantly reflect their lights in mirrors, infusing the surroundings with a renewed gleam. Accompanying this visual spectacle is a beautiful electro-acoustic soundtrack, meticulously generated by cutting-edge software and mathematical algorithms, immersing you in it.

DREAMS OF FAUCET Making Of!

What is our relationship with water? A question we all should ask us every day. A Tap, spring and well are here the main narrators to answer the question.

The exhibition was curated by Héctor Serrano and Javier Esteban. Our team was in charge of the technical direction, creation, development and installation of the exhibition.

Flaix 2042 oficial video! Enjoy!

TIMELINE was an interactive installation that reproduces a radio dial to revive the spirit of FLAIX radio station. By using our electronic devices, you can tune different tracks by moving the TUNER to other points. If you rotate it, you can change the sound source in real time (songs, jingles or programs) and the device responds with color feedback.

MID was invited by curator Rosa Pera to design and develop an installation for the exhibition “FLAIX 2042, 25 years of radio“ which took place in Palau Robert, Barcelona in 2017.

The TIMELINE is an interactive piece of 14-meter total length with an interactive surface of 150 sensitive points. We develop a hardware device to play and interact with these points that we call TUNER, with an embedded audio player, integrated speaker and rechargeable battery that allows it to detect the TIMELINE sensors and trigger the corresponding sound track. It incorporates a RFID reader and an accelerometer sensor. When the device approaches each point, we can listen to what is hidden there. You also can tune different tracks by moving the TUNER to other points. If you rotate it, you can change the sound source in real time (songs, jingles or programs) and the device responds with color feedback.

A light backlight for the timeline that allows you to visualize the active tracks in real time and give you the information of the different states of the piece. The installation runs with custom-made software to control the LED screen for the light feedback, and the modes of operation. The software generates the animations in real time, receiving the information wirelessly from the TUNER SPEAKERS, while the sound is playing.

Last year we have the pleasure again to collaborate with our friends of ProtoPixel developing the contents of a great lighting installation in Diagonal Mar Center in Barcelona.

There you can find this permanent installation during the year. A dynamic lighting installation programmed wiht protopixel create using generative coding.
