There are still secret places where you get a sense of what Mallorca would have once been like. Beaches surrounded by nature where the only soundtrack is the waves and the gulls. The following beaches have no showers, no toilets, no shops, no bars and possibly no phone coverage, but they offer an authentic experience of Mallorca, and I’m excited to share my top recommendations with you 🐚

Here are my 8 must-visit secluded beaches:

1. 🌴 Cala Varques – Hidden bay with clear waters and rocks.
2. 🌴 Arenalet Aubarca – Quiet beach, reached by a 1.5-hour hike.
3. 🌴 Cala Beltrán – Secluded cove framed by cliffs.

Today I want to share a beautiful story from the new Living in Mallorca Magazine that I really love.

Melvin Stoltze isn’t just restoring vintage cars - he’s restoring Mallorca’s soul. He brings new life to the island’s past by reviving iconic designs like the iconic Mallorquin SEAT Playero from 1961 and working with local artisans to craft beautiful objects rooted in tradition. What I admire most is the way he works—with intention, care, and deep respect for the island’s heritage. His work is about more than design—it’s about storytelling, connection, and keeping Mallorca’s spirit alive for future generations.

A beautiful reminder that tradition can be the starting point for something new.

Heute möchte ich eine schöne Geschichte aus dem neuen Living in Mallorca Magazin mit Ihnen teilen, die ich wirklich toll finde.

Melvin Stoltze restauriert nicht nur Oldtimer - er restauriert auch die Seele Mallorcas. Er erweckt die Vergangenheit der Insel zu neuem Leben, indem er ikonische Designs wie den SEAT Playero wiederbelebt und mit lokalen Handwerkern zusammenarbeitet, um wunderschöne, in der Tradition verwurzelte Objekte herzustellen. Was ich am meisten bewundere, ist die Art, wie er arbeitet - mit Absicht, Sorgfalt und tiefem Respekt für das Erbe der Insel.
