This book started it all.📖✨️

After writing and publishing my first book during Women's Month last year, Finish the Sentence (details on my profile) with twenty-five remarkable women, I realised something again and again: Our stories deserve to be told. Not just the polished ones. All of them.

Now, I'm listening closer.
This time, to Filipinas.
Like me.🇵🇭

There are millions of us around the world.🌏

Some of us are in the same room right now, lunch boxes open, the air rich with last night's adobo. Some are on the other side of the world, awake at unkind hour, the blue light of a phone our only companion.

Some take care of other people's children while their own grow up in the homes of relatives. Some lead teams from glass offices, usually the first. Often the only.

We move for work.
For family. For love.
For the dream of a life we hope is waiting.

Whether you were born in the Philippines or you're Filipina by blood and half-by-birth, it doesn't matter where you started.

You'll hear the same heartbeat: Steady. Stubborn. Full of love.

This Women's Month, I'm starting my search for 25 Filipinas to be part of my next book.

I'm looking for the:
✨️Executives and Founders
✨️ Nurses and Caregivers
✨️Artists and Creatives
✨️ The Mixed-Heritage Daughters
✨️ The ones who stayed and the ones who finally came home
And many others...

This book isn't about roles. It's about worth. About voice. Without asking us to shrink our stories.

I need your help to find them.
Do you know of an extraordinary Filipina whose story deserves to be heard?

Life's not scripted.
Why should our stories be?

It was the beginning of November 2025. Every Tuesday for six weeks, I logged into the same call.

A virtual room.
Different women.
Different countries.
Different lives.

I was invited to join not because something was wrong but because something was ready.

What connected us wasn't advice or competition.

It was presence.

The kind that lets you notice what's already inside you.

Your strengths, your doubts, your next step. Without judgement.

created that space. She's lived it, and now she's living her calling.
Emily Orcullo held it with steady care and wisdom.

Week after week, we named truths we hadn’t spoken before.

I softened, not smaller, not diminished, but clearer.

For decades, I only learned about how to climb a ladder. No one talked about climbing down.
Or sideways.
Or inward.

WOW wasn't about becoming 'better'. It was remembering who we already are when we stop performing.

Some weeks I felt cracked open. Other weeks I felt steady.
Both mattered and both were held.

What shifted wasn't my ambition, but my relationship to it. It gave me space to see patterns, trust what I know, and reconnect with how I want to live and work.

What stayed with me the most?
Our community.

I didn't leave with a checklist.
I left with trust in myself, my pace, and in what I am quietly building next.

No more rush. No performance.
Just honest work taking form and being accountable.

And once you've felt this kind of space, this kind of community, you know.

If you're redefining, transitioning, or recalibrating,
might meet you exactly where you are.

Every story in this book is real.
Every woman, unforgettable.

From the Global South and beyond, these are stories we don't hear often enough - and they deserve to be heard.

Meet Sri Rahayu.
An Indonesian.

'When my mum passed away, I broke into pieces...but I made a solemn vow on her deathbed: to make something of myself and help my two sisters finish school.'

A promise made. A promise kept.

For Ayu, that vow became her compass - through sleepless nights, impossible choices, and victories carved from grief.

She studied law. She did right by her sisters.
Her two wonderful children are flourishing.

She made discipline her armor - even choosing to wear a hijab while studying to keep herself focused.

Today, her success lives not just in boardrooms, but in the lives she's lifted along the way.

What's your Mission: Impossible assignment?
Tell me.

Every story in this book is real.
Every woman, unforgettable.

Meet Evelyn Miko.
A Filipina-Austrian.

The lifelong student.

She taught herself Korean through K-pop at 75.

Eve reminds: it's never to late to begin again.

Some people don't grow old - they grow onward.

I thought I knew how to talk about my book - after all, I wrote it. I lived it.

But nothing prepared me for how scary it feels to tell your own story.

At first, I stayed safe: writing what I thought people wanted to hear, keeping my own experience in the background, and avoiding asking people to take action - maybe because I was afraid they wouldn't.

But here's what I've realized:

If I want more people to connect with this book - and I'm so grateful for those who already have - then I have to fully show up.

That's why today I'm proud to officially launch my website: 🌐www.gretchenlargoza.com

A place to explore my book, buy a copy, or invite me to speak and share more.

💛 If my story resonates, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for being here - it means more than you know.

🌺 Big shoutout to dearest Naïma, our youngest reader!😍

At just 7 (almost 8!), she's already diving into the world of - exploring themes of courage, self-love, and finding her voice.

This moment feels so special because I remember seeing Naïma for the first time when she was still in her mummy's womb, and later as a baby. Now, she's a little lady loving the snippets of my book and says her mum, Nadiya, is famous!
(I agree, Naïma🌟)

Moments like these remind me why I wrote this book in the first place.💛

Here's to raising brave, self-loving humans, one story at a time.

📖 Finish the Sentence is for all ages - grab a copy and share it with someone special.

🌏 Amplifying Voices.
Celebrating Stories.
Bridging Connections.

When I started writing Finish the Sentence, I thought I was creating a collection of stories. A way to learn from other women.

It's turning out to be so much more...
✨️ A space to share voices and stories the world needs to hear more of.
✨️ A reminder that courage, resilience, and connection transcend boundaries.

This book features 25 remarkable women from around the world who shared with me their raw, authentic journeys-stories that will challenge, move, and inspire you to take action, just like I have to do something new.

💡As Catherine, one of the readers, said:
"The stories left me wanting to understand the 'how' behind moments of forgiveness and bravery, but maybe that quiet yearning is the gift-an invitation to let these stories echo well beyond the last page."

For those seeking stories that resonate with your journey or celebrate the courage within, this book is for you.

📖 Finish the Sentence is available now.
