I am compelled to express my outrage at the recent attacks carried out by Somaliland, Somalia, and Egypt, along with their terrorist affiliates. These coordinated assaults on the Somali Regional State Police have resulted in the shocking murder of 40 soldiers. It is unacceptable that these groups are now preparing for another assault, with the border left wide open.

This is not merely a tribal conflict or a dispute based on clan loyalties. Somaliland, Somalia, and their backers are brazenly attempting to establish a terrorist stronghold within the Somali region of Ethiopia and this cannot be tolerated.

Furthermore, Ethiopia’s inaction in the face of such blatant aggression is deeply concerning. How can Ethiopia turn a blind eye and fail to condemn the actions of Somaliland and their terrorist allies? This lack of response puts innocent civilians at grave risk and undermines any claims to regional stability.

Immediate and decisive action is needed to protect the people and preserve peace in the region. Enough is enough!
