I Was Recruited to the Family Conflict!
I was a proud Christian believing I was following only the God of the Universe; however, I didn't know I was recruited to join the family conflict in the name of religion until I read different religious doctrines, including Islam.
When I was a Christian, I didn't consider the suffering of the Muslim community the same way I considered the suffering of the Christian community. I believed the suffering of the Muslim community was inflicted by God because they were not following God, and the suffering of the Christian community was inflicted by Satan or sometimes by God if they violated God’s rules and laws. Religion was a significant thing to me beyond humanity, rationality, and nationality. I didn't care about Muslim children facing ex*****on from Christian countries or the Jewish country (Israel).
One day in Addis Ababa, 2020, I was with my very good friends from the Muslim society: Fohad Shifa and Abduljabeir. We shared everything, including religious teachings, except meals. One day I asked them if they could give me a translated Holy Quran and other doctrines. After I received the doctrines, I started reading them together with other religious doctrines I had with me. After I read the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish doctrines (Torah and Talmud), I understood that religion is more dangerous than tribalism and has replaced the sense of humanity, familyhood, rationality, and nationality.
I found out that the Bible and the Quran are talking about the same God, Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Sarah, Hagar, Jesus or Isa (Yeshua), but with variable information on the same people and incidents. For instance, the case of Abraham or Abrahim’s family matter. Muslims believe Hagar is a legal wife to Abrahim, and Ishmael was the Abraham’s son whom he tried to sacrifice to Allah/God (Surah As-Saffat 37:102-109). In contrast, Christian doctrines address Hagar as a servant to Sarah, and Sarah gave her to her husband to bear children for her, and Isaac, the son of Sarah, was the one whom Abraham attempted to sacrifice for God, not Ishmael (Genesis 16:1 and Genesis 22). In that chapter, the Christian Bible even addressed Isaac as the only son of Abraham, while Ishmael was born 13 years earlier before Isaac was born. I also found out that the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran are encouraging their members to kill non-believers. In the Bible, Deuteronomy 13:6-10 says, kill your brother, daughter, son, or wife who follows other people’s God, and in the Quran, Surah 9:5 says, kill the disbelievers (non-Muslims) wherever you find them and in Talmud Sanhedrin 72a says kill your enemy before your enemy kills you. However, Jews consider this verse as a statement of self-defence.
Moreover, I found out that the Christians and Muslims don't share meat, don't Marry one another and have different cemeteries. That means the two sisters can not share meat and cemetery if they join two religion (Islam and Christianity). That means the religion has heart and power to divide family. That means the Bible and Quran are telling us God/Allah of the Universe doesn't want his children to share meals.
Furthermore, after red the doctrines, I understand that Christians and Muslim doctrines are more related than Christians’ doctrines and Jewish’s doctrines.
The Muslim calls Jesus as Isa or al-Masīḥ. They believe that Jesus was born from virgin known as Maryam , he performed miracles and ascended to heaven by God, but is an angel, not God as Christians Holy Bible claim and he will come back. Jewish consider Yeshua or Jesus as a normal human being who died like other human beings and he has not risen from death. However majority of Christians are supporting the Jewish 🔯 or Israelites because the God of the Bible (God of Israel) says I will bless who bless Israel and I will curse who curse Israel (Genesis 12:3 & Numbers 24:9). That made me confused if the Christians are following Jesus or following the Israelites (Jewish )
That’s the reason why the majority of people are taking sides on the Israel-Iran war and more based on religion without considering humanity and reality. Christians think the innocent Muslim community are dying in the hands of Israel and others because of God's punishment and they think Muslims deserve it because their Bible is preaching the killing of non-believers and majority of Muslims also have the same concept against Christians.
That is the reason why majority of Christians support Israel and majority of Muslims support Iran because Iran is a Muslim-dominated nation and Israel is a Judaism-dominated nation and God of the Israel said blessings are those who bless Israel and curse to those who curse Israel. However it is not clear if he means when Israelites are victims or even when they are victimisers.
Finally, the problematic part is, these two books are considered Holy Books from God/Allah. That means they are telling us that God is the one that gave these variable information about the same people and the same incidents.
For these reasons, I decided to be non-religious (Theist) and I rest my case on believing that these religious doctrines are from God/Allah. I left the analysis and judgment to you.
