ከዳላስ እስከ ኢትዮጵያ፦ የፍቅር እና የርህራሄ ድልድይ የሆነው በፍቃዱ እና የዳላስ ኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ!

በየዓመቱ ከአሜሪካ ዳላስ ተነስቶ ለተቸገሩ ወገኖቹ ደስታን ይዞ የሚመጣው ተወዳጁ በጎ አድራጊ በፍቃዱ፣ ዘንድሮም በአስደናቂ የበጎ አድራጎት ስራው ደምቆ ታይቷል።

በፍቃዱ በዳላስ ከሚኖሩ ለጋስ ኢትዮጵያውያን ጋር በመተባበር በአጠቃላይ 2,322,000 (ሁለት ሚሊዮን ሶስት መቶ ሃያ ሁለት ሺህ) ብር በመሰብሰብ ለወገኑ ደርሷል።

ይህ ትልቅ የገንዘብ መጠን ለሁለት ግብረ-ሰናይ ድርጅቶች በእኩልነት ተከፋፍሎ ተበርክቷል፦

* ለእናት በጎ አድራጎት ድርጅት፦ 1,161,000 ብር
* ለካሊድ ፋውንዴሽን ድርጅት፦ 1,161,000 ብር

ይህ በጎ ተግባር የገንዘብ እርዳታ ብቻ አይደለም፤ የኢትዮጵያውያንን አንድነት፣ መተሳሰብ እና ለወገን ያለን ፅኑ ፍቅር ማሳያ ነው።

* በፍቃዱን እናመሰግናለን በየዓመቱ ሳይታክት፣ ድንበር ሳይገድበው፣ ጊዜውን እና ጉልበቱን መስዋዕት አድርጎ ይህን ቅዱስ ተግባር ስለሚያከናውን ታላቅ አክብሮት ይገባዋል።

* የዳላስ ኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበረሰብ እናንተ የኢትዮጵያ ኩራቶች ናችሁ! በባዕድ ሀገር ሆናችሁ ለወገናችሁ የዘረጋችሁት እጅ የብዙዎችን እንባ አብሷል፣ ተስፋም ሆኗል።

“ ለሰው ልጅ ሰው መሆን ብቻ በቂ ነው"
የሚለውን እውነት በተግባር አሳይታችኋል።

እንደነዚህ አይነት በጎ አድራጊዎች በበዙልን ቁጥር የሀገራችን ችግር ቀልሎ፣ ተስፋችን ይለመልማል።

‎ሁለተኛውን የጣሊያን-አፍሪካ ጉባዔ በጋራ በምናስተናግድበት በዚህ ወቅት፣ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ጆርጂያ ሜሎኒን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ እንኳን ደህና መጡ ስል ታላቅ ደስታ ይሰማኛል።

‎ይህ አጋጣሚ ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ስብሰባ ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ በጣሊያንና በአፍሪካ ሀገራት መካከል ያለውን ጠንካራ አጋርነት ማሳያ ነው። ይህም አጋርነት በመከባበር፤ በጋራ ኃላፊነትና ለዘላቂ ዕድገት ባለን የጋራ ርዕይ ላይ የተመሠረተ ነው። የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ሜሎኒ ጉብኝት በንግድ፣ በኢንቨስትመንት፣ በኢነርጂ፣ በመሠረተ ልማት፣ በግብርና እና በፈጠራ ዘርፎች የቀጠለውን ትብብራችን ለማጠናከር ያለንን የጋራ ቁርጠኝነት የሚያረጋግጥ ነው።

አዲስ አበባ ውስጥ በሕጋዊ መጠለያ ውስጥ የነበሩ 129 ንጹሐን ውሾች ባልታወቁ የህግ አካላትና የእንስሳ ሀኪም ነኝ ባይ ትብብር በተፈጸመ ጭፍጨፋ አልቀዋል።

​ይህ ድርጊት የሥልጣኔ ምልክት ሳይሆን የውድቀት ማሳያ ነው!

​መግደል መፍትሄ ሆኖ አያውቅም፦ ውሾችን በመጨፍጨፍ ከተማን ማጽዳት ለአሥርተ ዓመታት የተሞከረ ኋላ ቀር አሰራር ነው። ውጤቱ ግን የባሰ ውድመት እንጂ ለውጥ አላመጣም።

​It is heartbreaking to see a "solution"—one tried for centuries with no results—being repeated today in an even more barbaric manner. In Addis Ababa, 129 innocent dogs who were in a legal shelter have been slaughtered in a massacre supported by security forces.

​This act is not a sign of civilization, but a mark of failure!
​Killing has never been the solution: Attempting to clean a city by massacring dogs is an outdated practice that has been tried for decades. The result has always been further destruction, never positive change.

​The hallmark of a civilized society: Civilization means being able to manage not just ourselves, but also the vulnerable creatures under our care through health and systematic order. Instead of learning from developed nations, attempting to solve problems through force and cruelty drags the country back into the Dark Ages.

​Despair for volunteers: Destroying the work of people who labor at their own expense and effort to build a better image for their country makes the nation appear as a "collection of the cruel and uncivilized."
​It is shameful to choose such a barbaric path while claiming to be seekers of change!
​The fact that this act was committed under the cover of law makes it even more alarming. The cruelty shown to these creatures today reflects a moral decay that could reach any of us tomorrow.
