If it were ever destined that Dr. Riek Machar should perish at the hands of another, I am convinced that the late Dr. John Garang—who once held both the opportunity and the authority—would have carried out such an act long ago.

To my fellow supporters and compatriots, I urge you to remain calm and steadfast. Let us not be shaken or provoked, but instead allow events to unfold in their natural course. We have encountered storms before and emerged stronger, and we shall do so again.

President Salva Kiir has on several occasions sought to eliminate Dr. Machar—whether in 2008, 2013, 2016, 2019, or even as recently as 2022—through alleged plots of assassination, harassment, and political persecution. Yet, despite these repeated attempts, Dr. Machar has endured. His resilience stands as a testimony that if it is not within God’s will, neither Kiir nor his allies, including Bol Mel, can harm him. For ultimately, our destiny lies in God’s hands, not in the schemes of men.

This is why I rest in peace each night, confident that Dr. Machar remains under divine protection and guidance. The schemes of a tribalistic government, built on division and evil intent, will inevitably collapse. Their plans are destined to fail.

I hold firm to the belief that Dr. Riek Machar will one day lead this nation, not because of chance, but because of his vision, his leadership, and the undeniable support he carries among the people. Time, as the ultimate judge, will uncover the truth and vindicate the just, for God’s justice cannot be denied.

The sound of AK-47s has already silenced many lives, yet God sees and bears witness to the pain inflicted upon our people by Salva Kiir and those who falsely claim to speak for all 64 tribes under the banner of SPLM-IG. Should their malicious plans ever succeed, South Sudan will be condemned to decades without peace, and the casualties will surpass even those of 2013.

Even the so-called Minister of Justice, compromised by bribery and political pressure, will eventually falter. This is not the first time the regime has attempted to manipulate justice, and it will not be the last. Many have urged Kiir to capture Dr. Machar, including Commander Koang Chol, who once vowed to seize Mabiah Gar but was soundly defeated in Equatoria.

Just last year, a lawyer was dismissed for refusing to fabricate charges against Dr. Machar. Now they have appointed another puppet to pursue their false accusations. Let us wait and watch, for in the end their schemes will crumble.

Mark my words: this mad endeavor shall fail.
