I welcomed H.E. Christine Pirenne, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ethiopia, to my office, where we held fruitful discussions on the rehabilitation of conflict-affected areas and the ongoing humanitarian and development efforts in our Region.

On behalf of the Government and People of the Afar Region, I extend my sincere gratitude to the Kingdom of the Netherlands for its continued support, and to Ambassador Pirenne for her visit to our region and her field assessments of Dutch-supported projects, which reflect our shared commitment to sustainable recovery, resilience-building, and inclusive development
