Entrepreneurship Cont….
As you embark on the journey of entrepreneurship,
You have to carefully note the following points:-
1. Identifying the business problem
2. Designing the business model
3. Designing implementation strategy

As an entrepreneur the first thing you have to do is to identify the business problem in the society that is needed to be addressed by you. Here there is no problem whether you are a history major student or not in high school. Because you do not need sophisticated or complex mathematics to solve your problem and your problem may not need mathematics to be solved and some intuition may be enough to solve your problem. After identifying the business problem, as previously said you have to carefully study it and find a solution for it. After finding a solution you have to design a business model.

A business model as Alexander Osterwalder 2010 says is, all about value proposition, value creation, value delivery and value capturing or a business model describes the rationale of how an organization creates, delivers, and captures value. Here you design your business model to do as said. To design your business model there are tools or materials you need to use. Out of these tools or materials, one is a business model canvas developed by Alexander Osterwalder 2010. Leaving the details in the book for you, let us discuss the basics.

A business model has nine building blocks and they are Customer Segment, Value Proposition, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships and Cost Structures. As a business model is built on these nine building blocks there are things that precede the development of a business model. That is you need to create a business organization whether it is a sole proprietorship, private limited partnership or public limited partnership company, you need to create an organization in which you carry out your business. You have to know that there is no business unless there are organizations, employees and customers. Therefor it is a must for you to create some form of an organization before you start to develop your business model and identify a business problem.

የኦሞቲክ ወይም የኦማቲያ ህዝቦች አንድ መሆን ይችላሉ ወይስ አይችሉም?

ለዛሬ በዚህ ጥያቄ ጽሁፌን ልጀምር፣
እውነት እኔዚህ ህዝቦች አንድ መሆን አይችሉም ወይስ አንድ የሚያደርጋቸው የፖለቲካ ስርዓት ነው ያጡት? ነው ወይስ በህዝቦቹ መካከል ልፈታ የማይችል የፖለቲካ የቋንቋ የባህል የስልጣኔ ቅራኔ አሌ?

በእኔ እምነት ህዝቦቹ አንድ እነዳይሆኑ የሚያደርጋቸው ምንም አይነት ምድራዊ ምክኒያት አሌ ቢዬ አላምንም፡፡ ነገር ግን አንድ ነን ብሎ በጋራ የፖለቲካ ግንባር ፈጥሮ ለትግል የተነሳ የፖሊቲካ ፓርቲ ወይም ግለሰብ አልገጠመኝም፡፡ ይልቁኑ አንነትን የሚሸረሺሩ ህብረትን የሚያሳጡ የጎጥ ፓርቲዎች እዚህም እዚያም እንዳሉ አውቃለሁ፡፡ በተጨማሪም ይህ አንድነት እንዳይኖር የሚያደርጉ የፌስ ቡክ ብሽሽቆች እና ተበሻሻቂዎች እንዳሉም ይታወቃል፡፡ በጠቃሚ የእርሻ ማሳ ውስጥ የማይጠቅም አረም እነዴት በፍጥነት እንዴ ምስፋፋ የአርሶአደር ልጅ የሆኔ እና እርሻን ያጠና በሙሉ ጠንቅቆ ያውቀዋል፡፡ ልዩነትም መሰረት ያደረገ የማይጠቅም ብሽሽቅ በሰከንዶች ውስጥ ለቢሊነች እንደምደርስ ግልጽ ነው፡፡ በአንጻሩ ደግሞ ጠቃሚ እና ክልልን ብሎም ሀገርን የሚጠቅሙ አጀንዳዎች በኤሊ ፍጥነት እንደምጓዙ ይታወቃል፡፡ የሆነው ሆኖ የዚህ ጽሁፍ አላማ በኦማቲያ ህዝቦች መካከል አንድነትን ለማምጣት ምን መደረግ አለበት ስለምለው ጉዳይ እንድንወያይ እና ሀሳብ እንድንለዋጥ ነው፡፡ ይህ አንድነት የማጣት ጉዳይ በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃም ዋጋ እያስከፈለን ስለ ሆኔ ሁሉም በክልሉ እና በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ አንድነት ማምጣት በሚቻልበት ሁኔታ ቢያስብ እና ቢወያይ ጥሩ ነው፡፡

ለላው አንድኔት የሚያስፈልገው በግላችን ወይም በጎጣች ብንደራጅ ስለማንችል አይደለም ወይም በጎጣችን ጀግና ስላልሆንን አይደለም፡፡ ይልቁኑ ባለንበት የሉላዊነት ዘሜን ፉክክራችን ከዓለም ጋር ስለሆኔ ሰብሰብ ብለን በአንድነት ብንሰራ ስኬታችንን በጣም ማፍጠን ስለምንችል ነው፡፡ ስለዚህ እንዴ ኦማቲያ/ኦሞቲክ እንዴ አማራ እንዴ ኦሮሚያ እንዴ ትግራይ እንደ አፋር መጀመሪያ በየክልላችን ለጥፋት ሣይሆን ለልማት አንድ እንሁን፡፡ ቀጥለን ለታላቋ ሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያ ልማትና ብልጽግና እንዴ ኢትዮጵያዊ አንድ እንሁን፡፡

ስለዚህ እጅግ ባጣም ጠቃሚ ስለሆነው ክልላዊ እና ሀገራዊ አንድነት ጉዳይ ይህን ያክል በጢቂቱ ካልኩ ወዴ ዋናው ሪዕሴ የኦማቲያ ህዝቦች አንድነት ጉዳይ ልመሳቺው፣ በኦማቲያ/ኦሞቲክ ህዝቦች መካከል እንዴት አንድነትን ማምጣት እንችላለን? ለዚህ ጥያቄ የሚከተሉትን የመፍትሄ ሀሳቦች እንደ መነሻ አቀርባለሁ

1. የጋራ ክልላዊ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ መመስረት
በሀገራችን ክልላዊም ሆኔ ሀገራዊ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲ መመስረት ስለምቻል የህዝቦቹ ምሁራን ሰብሰብ ብለው ክልላዊ እና ሀገራዊ ራዕይ ያለው ጠንካራ ክልላዊ የፖሊቲካ ፓርቲ መመስረት እና ህዝቦቹን በተደራጀ መንገድ ማታገል፡፡ በርግጥ ይህ ለማለት ቀላል ለማድግ ከባድ ልመስል ይችላል፡፡ ሆኖም በደንብ ከታሰበበት ይቻቻል ባይ ነኝ፡፡

2. የጋራ ክልላዊ ቋንቋ ማበልጸግ
የኦማቲያቶ ቋንቋን ለክልሉ ህዝቦች እንዴ ጋራ መግባቢያ ቋንቋ ማስተማርና ማበልጸግ፡፡ የኦማቲያቶ ቋንቋ በዚህ ስያሜው በአሁኑ ወቅት የሚታወቀው በቋንቋ አጠኝዎች ዘንድ ቢቻ ቢሆንም ይህን ወደ ህዝቡ ዘንድ ማውረድ ያስፈገለጋል፡፡

3. የጋራ የልማት ማህበር መመስረት
የጋራ የልማት ማህበር መስርቶ ህዝቦቹን በጋራ ጉዳዮች ላይ በህብረት ማሰራት ይቻላል፡፡ ለዚህም በኦማቲያቶ ቋንቋ ህዝቦቹን የሰፈሩበትን ጂኦግራፊያ ክልል ሲያሜ በመስጠት እና የልማት ማህበሩን ስም በክልሉ ስያሜ በሜሰየም ለጋራ ተጠቃሚነት እድገት መስራት ይቻላል፡፡

4. የጋራ የንግድ ተቋማትን መመስረት
ልክ ሕወሓት እና ብአዴን እንዲሁም ኦህዴድ ያደርጉት እንደነበረው ጠንካራ እና አለም አቀፍ ተወዳዳሪ የሆኑ የንግድ ተቋማት መመስረት እና መስራት ይቻቻላል፡፡

5. ክልላዊ የተምህርትና የምርምር ተቋማት መመስረት
ሀገር አቀፍ እና አለም አቀፍ እውቅና ያላቸው የትምህርትና የምርምር ተቋማት በመመስረት ሀገራዊና አለም አቀፋዊ ብቃት ያለው ዜጋ ማፍራት ይቻላል፡፡ እነኝ እኔ የገቡኝ ነጥቦች ስሆኑ እናንተም የታያችሁን ሀሳብ ማካፈል እና መወያየት እንችላለን፡፡ ስላነበባችሁ አመስግናለሁ!!

Entrepreneurship

Everyone wants to be entrepreneur without knowing what it is to be. One has to know that starting a business as usual is not entrepreneurship. To be entrepreneur you have to know the tools that make you entrepreneur. Entrepreneur is one who can learn beyond basic learning and can apply the knowledge that is gained through that advanced learning process. You may think that an average person cannot learn beyond basic learning. But that is completely false because if one has done it, it is possible also that you can do it. What is needed from you is to make that great commitment and determination expected from you.

Being ready to exert that great commitment and determination, you have to make that advanced learning process in an organized way. An advanced way of learning is one that makes you maker, innovator and creator. No one teaches you this way of learning in school. You make this learning independently by yourself. But it is clear that to do this, it is obvious that, you have already passed basic way of learning.

Now a day’s there is teaching everywhere and it is not difficult to learn almost anything if one is ready to learn. But when you learn, learn to make, innovate and create. As you can see this is not something you can succeed overnight. You have to be ready to make that long journey of learning process let alone to make, innovate and create but for basic learning.

At the heart of entrepreneurship, there is something called problem solving. Unless you start learning to solve some human problem you cannot make long lasting success. How can one solves a given human problem and what is that human problem.

Human problem is something that deprives of human comfort. There are a lot of problems that deprives of human comfort, which are related to economy health education and so on. To solve one of these human problems, it must be correctly identified, stated and studied. After studying the problem correctly, one has to reach at a correct solution and this process of identifying a problem, stating it correctly, studying and finally arriving at a correct solution is called entrepreneurship.

The process is the same whether it is for industry, academy or business. My focus here is on business entrepreneurship. Here also you have to know that business is not only for grabbing money and maximizing profit. It is also to solve some human problem and money and profit maximization are just important by products of it.

The merits and demerits of ethnic national regional states (opinion)

Most people prefer to establish own ethnic national regional state wanting to avoid being with a competing another ethnic national. For example the Gurage’s do not want to be grouped with others in the cluster unless the regional capital is at the heart of Gurage. That is they do not want to establish a regional state unless it is under their control, this is because of the awareness they have got from the past 30 years’ experience in SNNPRS. It means they do not want the Sidama case to be repeated in case the zone with the regional capital wants to make cessation and makes negative influence on coexistence of the regions people. The same is true with the other ethnic groups within the cluster, and they want to establish their own regional state unless it is under their control, that is unless they are dominant group over the region.

The problem with the Omo cluster, that is Wolaita, Gamo, Gofa , South Omo, Konso and the five special woreda’s is the same except the bad experience the Gamos have with the Wolaitas. You all know that on 1991/92 E.C the Wolaitas violently demolished North Omo zone to gain their own zone. Not only that but also they denied the language and cultural similarity among the peoples and burned books published for primary school children’s, of whom I was the one at that time. That is the greatest problem which becomes very difficult to reconcile by now. The other problem is the place of the regional capital. Both of them want the regional capital to be at their zonal capital and that is very difficult. The demand for regional capital is to be dominant within the region because of competing ethnic nationalism between the dominant groups of the region.

And everyone is fan of this idea that is ethnic based national regional state, but no one asks what are pros and cons of establishing own ethnic national regional state. Those people who quest for own ethnic regional state do not want to see/show the bigger image of Ethiopia and what is going on in Ethiopia. Ethiopian politics should not be left for the Oromo’s, the Amara’s and the Tigreans only. We have to be united to have stake in it. Otherwise we will be valueless. We will not have the power to make influence that is we cannot force to take our own fair share of the limited resource of the country. This is one of the demerits of establishing own ethnic regional state demolishing SNNPRS. The merit is only having dominance within the regional state while others are dominating nationally.
I think it will be very difficult for PP to reconcile these problems and come at solutions that answers each ethnic group’s demand. Thank you for reading!
