Finally launching To Finnish Education and Beyond , Season 5! 😎

"Welcome to a new Season of the Podcast to Finnish Education and Beyond. This podcast is aimed at everyone who's interested in Finnish Education. We're going to have a weekly episode with luxury guests, to bring the best of Finnish education to the whole world. In addition, we'll talk about very important topics for Finland to continue improving our system, and one fundamental topic is integration.

We already have many cultures in Finland. There are many languages that are spoken. In Finland, two languages are spoken at an official level. The second language, which is my first language, is Swedish. So we are also going to speak in Swedish with some politicians or some Swedish-speaking educators to promote that opportunity also for internationals, to come here to learn Swedish and integrate in Swedish."

“Mi interés por la educación como carrera profesional empezó en el 2007, mientras llevaba a cabo un estudio de campo complejo en una de las zonas mas grandes y peligrosas en Colombia para mi tesis de Maestría en Economía Internacional, enfocado en la economía de la educación. Durante la aventura de visitar casi 200 escuelas en Aguablanca, un area llena de personas maravillosas constantemente sonrientes, me dio cuenta que la tarea de la investigación rápidamente se convirtió más en un privilegio que en un trabajo. Descubrí oportunidades sorprendentes, y grandes problemas, que atrajeron mi dedicada atención.” Más información en mi podcast personal en inglés: “5 Years in Colombia.” How it all began... “My interest in education as a professional career started for real in 2007, while carrying out the fieldwork in one of the largest and most dangerous slums in Colombia for my Master's thesis in international economics, focusing on education economics. During an adventure visiting almost 200 schools in Aguablanca, an area full of wonderful, constantly smiling people - which became more and more of a privilege rather than a research task - I discovered amazing opportunities, and great challenges, that attracted my dedicated attention.” More information in my personal podcast: “5 Years in Colombia”.
