The fresh mixtape celebrating 'Solar Encounters' EP is at first glance a departure from the label's usual musical direction with its atmospheric sounds and the more experimental, jazzier tracks. But traces of all these can be found on earlier releases as well, and on the mix Dizzy sets the mood combining tracks from the new EP with selected back catalogue highlights. It’s not common to get a release day shared between two of the absolute heavyweight champions of the Finnish dnb scene - or global for that matter. Both Resound and Fanu have a new single out today on digital platforms. Resound’s Sapiens VIP is a rough polyrhythmic take on his crowd favourite from a few years back.
