Digital inclusion starts with opportunity.
Discover why EmpowerAge was created and how we're supporting older women across Europe.

EmpowerAge is officially underway and it’s co-funded by the European Union (Erasmus+)
Why does this matter?
Because the digital divide is not just a personal challenge - it’s a social one.
And when age and gender overlap, barriers can become invisible, but very real: fewer opportunities, less support, and less confidence to participate fully in the digital world.
Through EmpowerAge, partners from Greece, Italy and Finland are working together to:
- address gendered ageism,
- strengthen digital and professional skills,
- create inclusive learning tools and open educational resources,
- support older women in active participation in society and the labour market.
👉 Already this week, we’ll be inviting you to take part in a short survey.
Your input will help shape the project’s training programme and the free Toolkit we are developing, so that they truly reflect real needs and experiences.
If you care about inclusion, lifelong learning and women’s empowerment in the digital age, follow along, stay connected, and take part.
