132 Episodes of Arctic Wild Set for Global Distribution with Off The Fence!

Our original format, one of Finland’s most beloved outdoor series, Arctic Wild (Eränkävijät), has entered a global distribution agreement with Off The Fence. The deal covers 132 episodes of Nordic outdoor content.

Off The Fence, recently strengthened through its merger with Insight TV, is one of the leading distributors of factual content worldwide.

Arctic Wild (Eränkävijät) has become a cornerstone of Finnish factual entertainment. Over ten seasons, the series has won four Golden Venla Awards (Finnish Emmys) and received 14 Golden Venla nominations.

Created and produced by NTRNZ, the format has grown into one of Finland’s most successful factual entertainment brands.

One of the Nordics’ most enduring outdoor formats sets out on new adventures!

Season 11 of Arctic Wild (Eränkävijät) introduces a new generation of wilderness storytellers:

Arctic survival expert Sakari “Sakke” Raappana, craftsman-adventurer Jani Grönlund, aspiring wilderness entrepreneur Katja Aaltonen, fly-fishing athletes Anna Virolainen-Hynnä & Aino Hynnä, and Project Trout creators Niilo Janhunen & Tero Huuskonen. Alongside them returns long-time audience favourite Aki Huhtanen and his loyal companion Äijä.

Created by NTRNZ Creative, Arctic Wild has reached audiences in more than 30 countries, generated over 90 million views, won 4 Golden Venla Awards, and received 14 Golden Venla nominations—making it one of Finland’s most successful factual entertainment formats.

Season 11 premieres on Yle TV1 on October 11, with all episodes available on Yle Areena from October 6.

We have appointed Jari Laakso as the company’s new CEO. Founder Teemu Hostikka will transition back into a key creative role as Creative Director and Executive Producer.

The leadership change forms part of NTRNZ Creative’s strategic growth, designed to further strengthen the company’s position at the forefront of premium factual and entertainment content – both domestically and internationally.

Jari Laakso brings over 32 years of senior leadership experience across corporate management, finance, sales and marketing, and digital transformation.

Outgoing CEO and founder Teemu Hostikka will now focus more fully on the company’s creative strategy, development and commercialisation of new productions, and his work as a writer and director.

As the company continues to expand, Hostikka’s expertise will be dedicated to ensuring artistic excellence and strategic direction across international productions.

NTRNZ Creative’s content has been acquired by all Nordic public broadcasters as well as leading international networks and platforms including BBC, National Geographic, Smithsonian Channel, RTL, ByteDance, and SBS.

Poliisit 24/7 out now! Catch it on Nelonen every Wednesday at 8 PM, with each week’s episodes also available on Ruutu Wednesday mornings.

We had the pleasure to film patrols in Oulu, Kuopio, and Hyvinkää, and to handle the post-production of the whole series.

Pentulive: Eka vuosi has been nominated as a finalist in the Best Lifestyle category at the Golden Venlas. This marks our 18th Golden Venla nomination.

Pentulive: Eka vuosi is available on Yle Areena starting 9 December, and will also air on Yle TV2 from 12 December, Fridays at 8 PM.

Our new docuseries "Pentulive: Eka vuosi" continues the story of the hugely popular Pentulive, following the birth and early weeks of border collie Loimu’s litter.

The series picks up where the livestream left off: What happens when the puppies leave the whelping box and move into their new homes?

Over the course of one year, the series follows the lives and growth of Loimu’s four puppies across different parts of Finland.

Pentulive: Eka vuosi is available on Yle Areena starting 9 December.
