Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are set to benefit from a significant expansion of the Government’s MSME Grant Programmes, Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica, announced today.
With a total allocation of $4.9 million, a 36% increase from last financial year, the Ministry is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible Fijians for five flagship programmes: the Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES), National Export Strategy (NES), Integrated Human Resources Development Programme (IHRDP), Northern Development Programme (NDP), and Trade Enhancement Programme (TEP).
“These programmes are designed to unlock the potential of every Fijian entrepreneur,” Hon. Kamikamica said. “Our goal is simple: to provide the tools, resources, and confidence for small businesses to grow, innovate, and contribute to our nation’s economic development.”
