🌧️ ⚠️ HEAVY RAIN ALERT IN FORCE
FOR: Yasawa, Eastern Half of Viti Levu (Serua–Namosi, Navua–Suva–Nausori, Tailevu–Naitasiri–Ra), the Northern Division, Lau and Lomaiviti Groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.

🔍 Situation:
A trough of low pressure lies over the eastern parts of the group and is expected to strengthen tomorrow. Cloud, showers, and periods of rain are likely to continue affecting parts of the country until Monday.

⚠️ Possible Impacts:
Flash flooding of flood-prone and low-lying areas, including informal settlements, communities, businesses, and Irish crossings.
Surface flooding in urban areas with poor drainage.
Wet roads and reduced visibility, especially during heavy downpours, increasing the risk of road accidents.

👉 Members of the public are advised to stay alert, avoid flooded areas, and monitor updates from the Fiji Meteorological Service.
