| An unidentified body was discovered this morning inside an abandoned house on Rewa Street.

Police say they were alerted around 5:30am after a report was made about an i-Taukei woman, partially dressed, found lying motionless in the vacant property opposite Talasiga Road.

Authorities and investigators were at the scene conducting inquiries.

The body has been transported to CWM Hospital for further examination.

Investigation is ongoing with the identity of the deceased yet to be confirmed.
