The Job Discovery Program provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and skills-based training through direct exposure to real workplace environments.

Meet Joseva Tuitubou, a 19-year-old student from Lakeba, Lau. Joseva is described by his family as a financially independent and highly motivated young man.

Before joining the program, Joseva worked part-time at a local car wash and even operated a small money-lending business, offering financial support to his friends and family — a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to helping others.

Joseva’s passion for cooking emerged after spending a month as a kitchen hand at the Fiji Vocational Technical Training Centre for Person with Disabilities. The experience ignited his interest in the culinary world and further fueled his desire to gain hands-on experience in the kitchen.

His ultimate goal is to secure meaningful, inclusive employment that will allow him to support both himself and his family.
