🎅 Colmar really stole our hearts ❤️

We enjoyed every moment spent here, and honestly, the Christmas decorations and markets are probably the most beautiful we’ve seen so far 🎄

It was very crowded though, at times it felt like the whole of Europe had the same idea 😅 probably the only downside.

This place definitely raised the bar for our future Christmas trips… good luck to the next destinations trying to beat this 🇫🇷🎄

For us, 2025 was a really good year 🎊

We had the chance to visit many amazing places, and we feel very lucky and grateful for all these experiences 🌍❤️

These are the moments that really matter to us. They make us richer every day, richer in wisdom, knowledge, and gratitude.

We learned so many new things this year, about the world and about ourselves.

We can only hope that the year to come will be at least as good 🙏✨

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year 🥂🎆❤️

We came to Rome for the Christmas markets… but quickly learned that Rome isn’t really about that 🎄😅

No problem though, because Rome in December is absolutely beautiful ❤️

Festive streets ✨ cozy cafés ☕ charming restaurants 🍝 and a Christmas vibe everywhere 🎄

This time, we slowed down and embraced la dolce far niente, the sweet art of doing nothing 🇮🇹

And honestly? Loved every second of it ❤️

Sibiu Christmas Market really brought out the kid in us. 🎄
It’s open from 14 Nov to 4 Jan, with 120+ stalls, good food, lights everywhere, a Ferris Wheel and an ice rink.
We walked around, tried a bit of everything, and honestly just enjoyed the cozy Christmas vibe like two happy kids. 🎅

🍁 A beautiful and warm November day spent hiking in the Bedeleu Mountains 🌞🍂
The red-cross trail starts in Sălciua Village, about 1h 30m from Cluj-Napoca, and takes around 6 hours to complete.

Along the way, you’ll pass Șipote Waterfall, a stunning balcony viewpoint with panoramic views, a natural stone gate called Poarta Zmeilor, and even a small cave. The forest looks absolutely magical this time of year — a mix of autumn colors and fresh green. 🌳

The first part is easy, up to the waterfall, but after that, it gets steeper and more challenging 🥾🌲

🍂 Just 20 minutes away from Cluj-Napoca, Cheile Turenilor looks absolutely stunning this fall 🍁
It’s not our first time here, but this time the place had a different vibe. The trail along the gorge has been upgraded with climbing cables — a perfect touch of adrenaline for those who love a little adventure! 🧗‍♂️

The route, marked with a 🔷 blue triangle, is rated as difficult and takes a bit over an hour to cross the gorge ⏱️ On the way back, you can either return the same way or climb up to the left or right ridge and pick a different trail 🏞️ The whole hike takes between 2.5 and 4 hours, depending on your route 🥾

The scenery is simply breathtaking — especially with all those autumn colors 🌾🍃 We went this month and enjoyed every single minute ❤️

The Forbidden City — one of those places you read about in history books and dream of seeing one day. 🏯 Built more than 600 years ago during the Ming Dynasty, it was home to 24 emperors and the heart of China’s power for almost five centuries. 🇨🇳

Walking through its massive courtyards and endless halls (there are over 9000 rooms!) feels surreal. You can almost picture how life used to be inside these red walls.

The place is huge — about 720,000 m² — and packed with visitors from all around the world. 🌏 It’s definitely one of those spots that remind you how rich and fascinating China’s history really is.

Beijing really surprised us — it’s a city where the past and future walk side by side. 🏯 Between ancient temples, traditional hutongs, and futuristic skyscrapers, it’s amazing how history and innovation blend so naturally here.

We came for the culture and stayed for the contrast. Beijing truly has two souls, and both are fascinating. 🇨🇳

China is full of surprises — and some of the cutest ones are these little animated statues you find literally everywhere! 🐼🐯🐉

From pandas and funny animals to legendary warriors and historical figures, they’re part of the local charm and impossible to ignore 😄

We couldn’t resist stopping for a few photos along the way — it’s like China has its own open-air cartoon world! 🇨🇳

Xi’an is one of those cities that perfectly blend history with everyday life. From ancient temples and the impressive city wall 🏯, to the vibrant Muslim Quarter filled with street food, lights, and local energy 🍢 every corner has something unique to offer.

Once China’s capital and the starting point of the Silk Road, Xi’an still carries that mix of cultures and traditions that shaped the country’s past and present. Walking through its streets feels like stepping into a living museum — but with way more delicious snacks 😋

If you visit, make sure to explore both the old and new parts of the city. The contrast is incredible!

Over 2,000 years ago, China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, wanted to be protected even after death. So he built an entire army out of clay — thousands of life-sized soldiers, horses, and chariots, each one with a different face. 🤯

This place, known as the Terracotta Army, is just 40 km from Xi’an and it’s honestly one of the most impressive things we’ve ever seen. It’s crazy to think this was all discovered by accident in 1974 by local farmers!

🎟️ Ticket: 150 RMB
🚌 Getting there: around 1 hour from downtown Xi’an (bus 306 or private driver)
🕓 Plan at least 3 hours — it gets very crowded.

It’s a place that makes you realize how powerful and advanced ancient China really was. History doesn’t get more real than this. 🇨🇳
