Looking for decoration suggestions! 🙏 I recently decided to brighten up my bedroom corner with a Rudsta and a Soltech Solutions pendant light. It still looks a little bare. How would you finish decorating this corner? I was thinking about putting another Schiele watercolor print on the wall but I'm open to all of your ideas! Inspo pics in my DMs welcome.

Some of my most wittle weaves for . 🥺 Hoya tengchongensis, Hoya verticillata variegata, Hoya heuschkeliana variegata, and Hoya polyneura broget are all thriving in my grow tent and putting out the most adorable itty bitty leaves. So precious!

Woof! Hoya fungii is like the big floppy-eared mastiff of my collection. 🐶 The leaves are even a little fuzzy. 

I got this one as a rooted cutting from Ryanne Orchidée in 2019. This is its first bloom and I'm over the moon about it. 😍 It was always a slow grower until I put it under my full spectrum grow lights. Now it's letting me know how loud it can bark. 😂 Not only is it blooming but it's putting out new leaves and vines from multiple nodes. 

At first, the blooms smelled like basil or pesto sauce. Now, they smell a little more floral like a strong pollen scent that becomes much stronger in the evening. 

It's such an easy plant with care requirements similar to H. carnosa. If you don't have it, why not? Go get one for heaven's sake. Stop wasting time. 😄

I love Hoya sp. gunung gading from Borneo. This is such a stunning plant! When the leaves are green, they are such a vibrant green that they'll knock your socks off. And then when the leaves turn crimson, it becomes spectacular in a whole new way.

Mine is a little more "sunstressed" (by grow lights) than I would have liked. Some months ago, I let it dry out too long and it suffered from root rot. Those affected leaves never fully recovered and they turned pink very quickly under my .life.official lights. When Hoyas dry out, they're more susceptible to taking on the reddish coloration caused by excess light. The leaves that never dried out from root rot remain green.

It's putting out two new vines and I have even spotted a pedicel so the grow lights are truly bringing this plant out of its shell. I look forward to seeing how it develops.

It was given to me as a gift from in 2019 and I'll never forget it. What a kind, thoughtful, and giving person. Thank you, Ylwa. I cherish this plant. And never again will it go unattended!

Begonia go go goegoensis! 💚 This is a really neat Begonia that I'm happy to have in my collection, and relieved that it didn't croak in The Great Begonia Catastrophe of 2019/2020. Not only was I waging a war against Begonia powdery mildew but the clouds above Lille were gatekeeping the sun for months, then my living room shutter closed and broke so we were deprived of natural light for weeks. Ouch.

Lesson learned.

Nowadays we're doing much better with repositioning of the plants for optimal natural light conditions and top-of-the-line grow lights from , .life.official, and .hydro. 🌞 Nothing but the best for these babies.
