Untakt (Julien) est un artiste français résidant à Lyon. Fan inconditionnel de rap, de reggae et de hip hop, depuis l'adolescence, il fait ses armes à la batterie après quelques années au piano.
Les musiques traditionnelles, les percussions africaines et d'Amérique du sud lui font découvrir d'autres manières d'aborder le rythme. II ira jouer au Gibus (Paris), a la Tannerie (Bourg en Bresse), au Brise Glace (Annecy), aux Abattoirs de Bourgoin Jallieu et au stade de France à Paris entre autres avec Flor De Compas pour I' ouverture d'un match France/Uruguay. Son parcours l'amène à enregistrer, mixer et mastériser la musique toujours assoiffé de productions originales. II travaille avec différents musiciens sur ses compositions pour construire un collectif autour du Dub. Il tisse un dub aux influences organiques, ou fluidité et profondeur se rencontrent. Au travers de rythmes soutenus, de sons délicats et de notes d'espoir, c'est une invitation à la connexion, à la tendresse partagée et à l'éveil des cœurs. Des mélodies entre douceur et adversité, dans un monde où chaque souffle est une lutte et chaque rêve un defi.Au cœur des tempêtes, la musique trouve toujours un chemin vers l'unité, la paix et la beauté de l'instant présent : poésie du collectif !

Untakt (Julien) is a French artist living in Lyon. A die-hard fan of rap, reggae, and hip hop since his teenage years, he began playing drums after spending a few years on the piano. Traditional music, African, and South American percussion introduced him to new ways of approaching rhythm. He played at the Gibus (Paris), La Tannerie (Bourg-en-Bresse), Brise Glace (Annecy), Les Abattoirs de Bourgoin-Jallieu, and the Stade de France in Paris, among others, with Flor De Compas for the opening of a France-Uruguay match. His career has led him to record, mix, and master music, always thirsting for original productions. He works with various musicians on his compositions to build a collective around dub. He weaves a dub with organic influences, where fluidity and depth meet. Through sustained rhythms, delicate sounds and notes of hope, it is an invitation to connection, shared tenderness and the awakening of hearts. Melodies between sweetness and adversity, in a world where every breath is a struggle and every dream a challenge.
