‼️ Unpopular opinion : coming down from a hike is just as challenging as going up.

💪 I said what I said. In fact it may be harder!
💓 While my heart rate isn’t as elevated climbing down as climbing up, I still take a long time to come down.
🥾 I’m very careful about where I place my feet as well as some step downs are difficult to do…
🧗♀️ Additionally there’s nothing to catch you if you fall… when going up, it’s much easier to find and grab ahold of things!
