House of stars Season 2 Winner Lolo Simeon has this to say concerning her winning the House of Star and what she has been facing in the hands of the organizers.

New Year Greetings with love from Paris.
I know many of you have reached out to me privately and some even openly on social media demanding a clear explanation with regards to the progress of the Prizes won at the House of Stars Reality TV Show which ended in February 2025. At this point, I’ll like to make a few things known.
1. Nine Months of Unanswered Requests for House Documents
For nearly 9 months I have been constantly requesting for documents for the house that was presented to me by the House of Stars CEO, Mr Valentine King. My lawyers have written letters requesting for answers and were promised that the document for the land on which the house I won was built will be ready and that I will get a deed of conveyance assigned to me afterwards. Lawyers for House Of Stars requested for sixty days.
Some six months down the line, I haven’t received any papers for the said property. Let me put this straight. Mr Valentine King doesn’t have any registered title to his name or in the name House of Stars as for the land upon which my prize house was built.
2. The Car which he said was "Destined for Me by God" and the Deception Around It.
Whilst I was motivated by the fact that the previous winner of House Stars first edition got a new car and a furnished house, I expected an even better car and an upgraded house as was promised by the CEO. This was not the case. I was presented a used Nissan Rogue and till date, I don’t have any documents to prove ownership of the said vehicle. The CEO Mr Valentine King had presented me with another car registration to be used on the said car. Until a few days ago, he had not made any moves to regularize the registration process of the old and battered Nissan Rogue. On Wednesday 30th December 2025, I received a message from Mr Valentine King who has taken my tolerance for his many shenanigans for weakness, asking me to present a car that he has given to me nearly a year ago for fitness test at the SLRSA. He says it’s his show. His rules. He calls the shots at his own time.
He claimed the said vehicle was “destined for me by God." I rejected it repeatedly. He even asked me to contribute money so he could give me his white Wrangler, something I found absurd. After countless arguments, he convinced me to accept the broken, unsafe Nissan Rogue with only three wheel covers and multiple mechanical issues that have endangered my life several times. This vehicle has broken down in the middle of the road on several occasions, requiring emergency mechanical assistance. Whenever I raised concerns, he insisted the money should instead be used for the construction of the house he promised instead of replacing the car.
3. The Handing Over Ceremony and the Broken Promise to Finish the House.
The house that was hurriedly and poorly built has been proven by engineers to have structural defects. For a newly built house, the condition of the said building is deplorable and a risk to live in if remains in its present state.
He begged me to allow him to conduct the public handing over ceremony and promised he would complete the house privately afterward to meet his three month deadline. I agreed only because I saw myself as part of the King's Empire and believed I should show understanding and trust the CEO.
4. The Shocking Reality of the House After the Ceremony
After the ceremony, I returned to the house the following day, since I was not allowed to sleep in it (an experience I was deprived of) due to its deplorable condition, I discovered the truth. I sent him a video showing the deplorable state of the building, much of which had been hidden in the dark and behind locked rooms during the ceremony. I asked him to continue the finishing work as promised.
His response was shockingly inhumane and dismissive "Lolo, I have handed over the keys to you. You can go ahead and do the finishing yourself. It's your house." That statement broke me. Mr Valentine King has been very disrespectful. The above issues have been brought to his attention many times and he brushes them aside thinking he is doing me some huge favour and I should be thankful to him for his grand gesture. Our people voted. Troopers you guys made this possible with the help of God on our side. The level of gaslighting unimaginable.
This situation deprived me of the joy I should have felt and is the reason I stopped posting about the show, stopped celebrating the win, and refused any ambassadorship titles. I carried this burden privately, hoping he would correct his wrongs without bringing it to the attention of the public.
I want you all to know that whilst this man has technically handed over the house to me, it cannot be my house because I have no papers for this property and it has been proven that the house was poorly built due to cheap building materials and bad workmanship.
5. The House Is Structurally Unsafe and Uninhabitable
After proper assessment, the house has been proven to be uninhabitable and unsafe. If not for my mother, determined to ensure that her efforts and the efforts of the troopers were not wasted, the house would have remained in the deplorable state in which it was handed over. Because my mother insisted we complete the finishing work ourselves, we uncovered severe structural defects:
* water-soaked ceilings and walls
* Repeated dripping leaks
* dangerous construction faults
These issues put my life and my family's lives at risk. My mother stayed in a hotel for nearly two months supervising repairs, repairs we should never have had to do.
She only began sleeping in the house because hotel costs became too high.
Neither me nor my family can Live in that House. Let me make this clear: my mother has not moved into the house and cannot move in, even after we spent a significant amount of money on repairs. We can no longer continue fixing it because the core damage originates from the very beginning of the construction process which is from the foundation of the structure.
6. Continued Manipulation, Disrespect, Gaslighting, and Insults Toward Me, My Mother and the entire Troopers camp.
Throughout this ordeal, Mr. Valentine King has been consistently disrespectful.
He brushes aside every concern as though he is doing me a favor. He insults my mother and calls her a liar.
He boasts that because it’s his platform, everything must go his way. He has even told me to take the matter “wherever I want." And went further to say” I can even go to God in heaven, he will still win me in court.” Mr Valentine King is of the opinion that I am an ingrate. For a Reality TV show which I contested and won on good merits. I left my comfort zone in France and my son to come and contest fairly and squarely. I have stayed silent long enough. This is no longer about me. This is about all of you who put your hard earned money to ensure my victory. I feel we have all been robbed. You believed in a platform you thought was legit.
In conclusion, his actions have shownn that he is intentional about his decision and he will do nothing to sort it out.
Sorry for interrupting your New Year’s celebrations and I pray that this year will bring prosperity and blessings to all of us.
But the truth must be told. Enough is Enough!!!!
