🔴 NEW ALBUM OUT JUNE 5 ! 🔴
My debut album « Un Voyage Isolé » will be released friday June, 5th ! I am so excited to write this !! I must admit that quarantine was the best thing that could happen to my project.
I was thinking to compose my first album early 2020, as a part of my « Guitar As A medicine » project. I started to compose some experiments in january.
But I needed to be mentally fully available to be creative...then the lockdown came to me, no job, no clients … nothing else than doing music !
I started to fully work on this project at home early april, and all the songs cames quite quickly. I was so inspired !! So I decided to make this album come true during the lockdown by recording it at home then sending the takes to my friend Florent who did the mix and mastering in May. Hug thanks to him, it sounds awesome, I promise !!! So here it is, “A journey in isolation” album !
As a small part of the album is experiments about healing music, this album is more a experience, a piece from a project. Call it an experimental fingerstyle album ! 3 songs are my fingerstyle tunes composed during my journey at the hospital, like “Hotel-Dieu”, the main song from the project . The 6 other tunes have been composed in April and some of them are inspired by minimalism and meditative music.
An album about the way I play guitar. Composed with my heart, and a project based on my own experience that was very inspiring to me.
