The 5 projects selected for Venice Immersive 2025 — A Long Goodbye, Eddie And I, Less Than 5Gr of Saffron, The Exploding Girl VR, and The Sad Story Of The Little Mouse Who Wanted to Become Somebody — each had the chance to share their creative journey, immersive the audience into universe of their work, exchange ideas and feel the energy of the audience responses — a truly unforgettable part of the experience.

On the red carpet, the glory moments celebrated not only the creations but the spirit of immersive storytelling that brings us all together.

We couldn’t be happier to have celebrated alongside these incredible teams. The journey has just started, and we can’t wait to show you what comes next. 💛

We are thrilled and deeply honored that Less Than 5gr of Saffron has won the Special Jury Prize at Venice Immersive 2025 🏆✨

The story follows Golnaz, a 23-year-old Iranian immigrant, whose simple act of cooking with saffron unexpectedly reconnects her with the most traumatic moments of her past. It’s a story of what comes after loss, of the fragile moments that carry both pain and hope, brought to life by an extraordinary team of artists and collaborators :

We’re thrilled to share that Play Life has been officially selected for the BFI London Film Festival Expanded 2025 in the VR Lounge category, taking place from October 8 to 19, 2025! 🎬

Play Life invites you into the vibrant world of Algis Kriščiūnas’ paintings, where art transforms into living, breathing stories. Through a nostalgic conversation between a man and a woman, the film explores love, memory, and the passage of time. Each scene unravels emotions, blending heartfelt storytelling with Kriščiūnas’ creative vision—offering an immersive journey into life, memory, beauty, and reflection.

We’re so happy to welcome A Long Goodbye to our lineup!

This poetic animated VR experience, directed by directed by Kate Voet & Victor Maes, follows Ida, a 72-year-old pianist living with dementia. Through her eyes, we experience fading memories, rediscovered love, and the tender long goodbye between two people who shared a lifetime together. 💫

With this addition, our roster for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival grows from 4 to 5 selections, a milestone we’re incredibly proud of ! 🎉

🐭 We’re thrilled to announce that The Sad Story of the Little Mouse Who Wanted to Become Somebody has been officially selected for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival !

Once upon a time, there was a little mouse who worked relentlessly to achieve a single goal: becoming somebody. Driven only by her ambition, she slowly became mean and arrogant, pushing away everyone else. Until one day, she accepted a job offer from the most prolific toymaker in the world: Santa Claus. The little mouse was about to find out that climbing the corporate ladder was not all that she hoped it would be…

The sad story of the little mouse who wanted to become somebody is a biting satire of corporate life in the form of a VR Christmas tale.

After a deeply moving reception at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, we’re honored to bring Golnaz’s story to Venice.

Directed by Négar Motevalymeidanshah and produced by Ten2Ten Films, the film offers an intimate reflection on forced migration — not through spectacle, but through the quiet ritual of preparing a meal. As Golnaz cooks, memories surface. Trauma lingers — not loudly, but tenderly.

Less Than 5 Grams of Saffron explores what comes after escape — when safety allows presence, and healing begins.

✨The Exploding Girl VR is coming to the 82nd Venice International Film Festival ✨

For the past three months, Candice has been exploding every day. Sometimes even 2 or 3 times a day. Her record is seven times. She currently has 192 explosions.

This VR experience dives deep into youth as a space of tension, vulnerability, and resilience. The Exploding Girl VR confronts coming of age in a fractured world with a signature blend of intimacy and unease.

We’re honored to share this bold work in Venice.
