[ 💚 SOFT OPENING ] New artisanal ice-cream spot is in soft opening mode from today at 8 rue Dupetit-Thouars in the North Marais! Chef Frances has prepared a whole menu of delicious seasonal flavour combos: fior de latte; crème citron; coffee-crème fraiche; cucumber-mint; choco-coco; watermelon-olive oil; melon-ginger; pistachio-praline; peach; matcha-strawberry… Yum! 🍨🍓🍉🍑🍋🥥

[ ✨LIFE AT THE PUCES ] Meet our favourite style cat Mae Lapres – founder of the vintage destination (Stand 122bis, Alley 7, Marché Vernaison) at the , fashion model (check her IG ), and proud parrot mum (spot her pink cockatoo Caesar in slide 5). Mei Mei has hand-sourced every gotta-have piece in her shop – from label-less gems to designer treasures – and she’s the perfect person to show them off. Always up for a chat, too. Today’s look of the day: linen tartan trousers and a leather harlequin coat (both from FreePStar), liitle Gucci messenger bag, and the cutest little beret. 💗

✨ The team behind has opened a second spot taking over the ground floor of opposite. Chef is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to eat in or take away, in a space designed by .
🖤 is the new archival fashion boutique from our friends Dennis of (vintage Margiela, Raf, etc.) and Théo from (Italian 80s–90s finds). They’ve just opened their own space at 1 cour de l’Île Louviers, under the arches of the Morland Mixité project, 75004.
🌴 Disco, now at , is a vast, immersive exhibition of Vivian Suter’s painting practice – nearly 500 unframed canvases overlapping, stacked, swaying in the wind. Made over the past decade in her tropical Guatemalan garden studio. Sublime and slightly surreal.
🍨 The summer gelateria is back! Il Gelato Teatro is serving small-batch scoops – think fior di latte, pistachio, dark choc sorbet – in the courtyard of the until 20 July.
🍹 From Wednesday at : five summer evenings with ’s Franck Audoux. Upstairs at the bar, cocktails meet tea from the T. Collection, paired with five à la carte izakaya-style dishes. Beautifully restrained, beautifully made.
🧃 Finally, ’s new venture brings cookies, cakes, fresh juice and basketball shoes (his first solo design, post-Nike) to the old Pigalle Paris space. Slogan: “Get in the habit of just making things for fun.” We’re in.

💥Men’s kicks off tomorrow with a packed line-up of shows, pop-ups and parties. The headline event has to be Jonathan Anderson’s debut at on Friday, joined by returns to the Paris men’s schedule – Saint Laurent, Dries Van Noten, Études, and the Londoners Wales Bonner and Craig Green. Marine Serre and US label Bode are also back, the latter fresh off the March opening of its handsome Paris boutique. Newcomer – Camper’s experimental line led by fashion freak – makes its Paris debut on Thu. We’re also watching our friends launch at on Tue, a new pop-up from at 23 Rue de Grenelle opens today, and presents ‘Pure Fashion Day’ on Sunday, when Jacquemus closes the week at the Versailles Orangerie.
🪶Paul Poiret’s extravagant world comes to life at through hundreds of pieces – from dresses and accessories to perfumes, décor and parties, spanning the Belle Époque to the Roaring Twenties – exposing a fashion revolutionary whose influence still resonates. Opens Wed.
🎯 opens its first-ever standalone art gallery on Thu. Acne Paper Palais Royal replaces the brand’s former Palais Royal store and launches with a photography show by Dutch artist .
🗿The new season at the includes a major showcase of French collector Bruno Decharme’s extraordinary Art Brut collection. Also opening there on Thu: Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely, Pontus Hulten explores the powerful bond between the artists and the pioneering first director of the Centre Pompidou.
🖤‘Temple of Love’, Paris’s first exhibition dedicated to post-apocalyptic designer – with Owens himself as artistic director – opens Sat at , tracing his explorations of the ‘subhuman’, ‘inhuman’ and ‘superhuman’, from early LA to now.

[ ON VIEW ] ‘Nothing could have prepared us; Everything could have prepared us’ – ’ retrospective opens today at the , the much-loved (and soon to be much-missed) art centre’s final show before it closes for five years of renovations this September. Themes of humanity, nature, friendship and sexuality – alongside protest and politics – recur throughout this vast installation, which captures the quiet interconnectedness of urban daily life and declares: ‘history is now’. Taking over the entire Level 2 of the Bpi library, 35 years of artistic practice – including photography, documentation, archives and all kinds of ephemera – unfold in dynamic dialogue with the library space. Don’t miss it!

Reuni is a collection of simple, comfortable pieces made to last — crafted in exceptional European ateliers from carefully sourced natural materials. Each design reflects French savoir-faire and a culture of luxury that favours precision over excess. The winter collection is now available for pre-order, and you can browse all the pieces – our fave: the Cardigan Milano – and meet the crew, at a pop-up at 98 rue de Turenne, 75003, running through Saturday. [ LIFE AT THE PUCES ] Paris nightlife and fashion legend , a former DJ at iconic Paris clubs, from the Palace to the Balajo, has opened his vintage clothes stand this weekend; find him at 26bis Rue Paul Bert. In other news, , dealer at (Alley 6, Stand 232), invited artists and to do an “intervention” on a kitsch Sarreguemines porcelain tableware service. They’ve painted radical black motifs over the service’s floral decorations, creating a whole new conversation with French “arts de la table”.

👑 The King is dead, long live the Bagel King! Our friend Bob has transformed his cult juice bar on Rue Lucien Sampaix into – think hand-rolled, boiled-and-baked bagels to eat in or take away. Our go-to? Avocado + cream cheese.
🥾 opens tomorrow at 10 rue de Marseille – the latest project from the Paris makers behind Veja and Centre Commercial. A new multibrand space for high-performance gear with a conscience: Wise, Pas Normal Studios, Nanga, Lesovik, Unna, and a major Satisfy Running selection.
🌍 .paris founder Alexandra Senes has parked her Caravan in Paris (20 Passage Saint-Sebastien, 75011) for a joyful pop-up with friends – including Gaëlle Constantini, Xavier Derome and Galerie Nationale. Ends tomorrow!
📸 Opening tomorrow at .paris: the first major retrospective of fearless French photographer Marie-Laure de Decker – from the Vietnam War to anti-apartheid South Africa and intimate portraits of Duchamp and Sagan.
🌙 On Saturday, Nuit Blanche 2025 lights up Paris with an all-night, cinema-inspired programme curated by Valérie Donzelli. Expect projections, performances, and poetic surprises across the city.
🎉 Also Saturday, head to ’s Cabinet (19 rue de Bièvre) for a festive block party celebrating 1 year of this gem of a shop – with good neighbours, small brands, and plenty of heart.
🌳 And tucked away in Saint-Ouen, just a bike ride from the Flea Market, a 19th-century maison de maître has been reborn as – an 8-room boutique hotel decorated with vintage finds, and with a restaurant, bar and dreamy garden.

🔺At the , a stimulating group show ‘Dans le Flou’ (‘Out of Focus’) explores blurriness as a modern way of expressing disorder, movement, allusion and doubt in a world looking for meaning… From Monet’s Waterlilies to works by Antoine d’Agata, Richter, Hartung, Rothko and more.
🔻A healthy choice of food, on arty plates, within a unique art environment at Pantin’s brand new Café Bleu, where an inaugural exhibition features a series of photographs by American artist Jack Pierson that explore the emotional undercurrents of daily Parisian life.

Steve McQueen’s first solo show in Paris since 2016 , ‘Bounty’ is a series of photographs capturing the vivid beauty of flowers native to the Caribbean Island of Grenada. More than a study of nature, McQueen presents a meditation on history, West Indian heritage and resilience.

“Fashion designers offer one of the last refuges of the marvellous. They are, in a way, the masters of dreams...” (Christian Dior, 1958). A new season for the Galerie with a new, immersive interpretation of the maison’s history through 13 themes, from gardens to painting, music and dance.

[ STUDIO VISIT ] Book person, animal person, is a Paris-based artist who conjures in ink, gouache and oil painting realms ripe with mystery shimmering behind the everyday. Mainly working on paper, her naive lines and scenes – recurring motifs include horses, dogs, books and enigmatic girl-woman figures – have all the resonance and gravity of myth or dream. She works on children’s and artist’s books, exhibitions, and collaborates with brands (The Booker Prize…) and the press (The New York Times…). Lately she contributed food souvenirs and sketches, made on the paper tablecloths of The Yellow Bittern in London, to the latest issue of . A selection of limited prints are for sale on her website and you can DM her for original pieces. I was lucky to visit her in her little studio located on an ancient street in Saint Germain yesterday, and here’s what I saw.

🔺‘Archival’ fashion freaks and the Melbourne-born founders of , Otto and Hugh have opened a first permanent namesake boutique in Paris — at 12 Rue du Roi de Sicile, 75004. Open 7/7. Yay!
🔻For his exhibition ‘As Above So Below’, British artist .leckey invites visitors into the heart of the ecstatic – showing how music, dance, or the city at large can be vectors for experiencing the sublime. Now on at .
🔺1909.bookstore, the indie bookshop dedicated to subcultures in art and especially music – hosted inside Dover Street Market Paris for the last few years – has just reopened an own-name space at 3 Passage Guilhem, 75011.
🔻The Paris-based fashion brand inspired by how artists dress, live and work, , continues its Paris pop-up ‘PRESENT PAST FUTURE’ until the end of the month at 19 rue Guénégaud, 75006, in the heart of the antiques quarter.
🔺Also in Saint Germain, Harry Nuriev – artist, designer, decorator, man-about-town – has just opened his gallery on 8 rue des Beaux-Arts, with an exhibition ‘Transformism Laboratory’ that showcases his inspirations 𝒹𝓊 𝒿𝑜𝓊𝓇.
🔻Hundreds of designers, craftspeople, factories, galleries, foundations and institutions will show their artisanal stuff at the international crafts and creation fair, opening Wed at .
