Dear Nuer Youth Union Leadership, Mr Both Kuol Nyang, the Chairman,

I acknowledge the service of the Nuer Youth Union leadership since your election. You have at least made some positive activities in our community. However, your tenure officially concluded in March 2026 according to the Union constitution/bylaws. As you were a leadership that was elected you should respects the voice of those who voter for you.

In line with democratic principles, accountability, and the values of youth inclusion that our communities need right now, we kindly advise:

1. Honor the tenure: Complete the handover process as stipulated in your constitution. Leadership that respects term limits builds trust and gain community respects.

2. Give back the seat to the Youth: it a time to Initiate elections or transition meetings immediately so new youth representatives can take office. The Union belongs to all Nuer youth not only few individuals who care for their own benefit.

Let make Nuer Youth Union a Union that respects its own rules and becomes stronger and gets more respect from our community, Youth leadership, and South Sudan as a whole

On 26th May 2026, AKOBO-TV has conducted an interview with the staff of "One Akobo Rescue Union organization."

A Community established Non-Government Organization formed in 2022 by the students who later became the leadership of AYA at Kakuma Refugees Camp, and through individuals support, has so far sponsored eighteen (18) students.

Among those sponsored, four (4) of them have already gotten the scholarship abroad.

*AKOBO COMMUNITY'S CONSULTATIVE MEETING RESOLUTIONS, REGARDING THE NOMINATION OF THE NATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY MEMBERS FOR SPLM/A-IO, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE INTERIM CHAIRMAN, HON. STEPHEN PHAR KUOL WANG.*

In reference to the aforementioned subject, Akobo community have conducted a spontaneously emergency meeting, responding to the ongoing nomination of the MEMBERS of PARLIAMENT under the leadership of the INTERIM Chairman, Stephen Par Kuol, substituting the recent Forty-Seven (47) revoked members through the Presidential Decree.

*©-RESOLUTIONS/OUTCOME OF THE MEETING:*

1. The position of the Council of State, held then by Hon. John Jooyul Yol, representing Akobo East/Joa Joa Community, and in the current nominations shifted to Nyirol, occupied by Hon. William Kuol Chuol is irrational and must be taken back to Akobo.

2. Akobo Community's diversity, where all the sections are represented, seem extremely ambiguously under the leadership of the interim Chairman evidenced as hereunder:

-Hon. Solomon Pur Gok - Minister of Federal Affairs - Jimaai Community

- Hon. James Khor Mayian - Nominee (MP) - Jimaai Community

- Hon. Tut Jock Buop - MP - Jimaai Community.

- Eng. Mazol Bol Chakuen - Deputy Chairperson for Electoral Committee, Jonglei state - Jimaai Community

-Hon. Sam Simon Mayian Tut - Advisor for Economic, Jonglei State - Jimaai Community.

In this demonstration, Jock and Galieh community are barely included, therefore, demanding the Interim Leadership of Hon. Stephen Phar Kuol to reconsider its action, decision to revise the list of the nominees for the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) to involve and add on, those partially represented sections in the endorsement for transparency and impartial exercise.
