In sickness and in health started early for this Florida couple.

Kapri DeRamus was on his way to marry Tyasia Thomas in Altamonte Springs on Sept. 5 when another vehicle crossed into his lane and hit him head-on around 4:30 p.m. He suffered two broken arms, a broken jaw, a broken rib and a cut to his knee. About an hour before the ceremony, Thomas got the call and the wedding party rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Once he was stabilized, they did not postpone. That evening they married in a hospital multipurpose room. DeRamus was still recovering in bed. His grandfather officiated. Staff helped — one nurse even made a bouquet from hospital plants.

He was released Wednesday. Medical bills and lost work remain. A fundraiser is circulating for the newlyweds.

A car tried to cancel the day. They kept the vows.

Police arrested Tyler Mims, then 22, after a viral video allegedly showed him stuffing dozens of iPhones into his pants and walking out of an Apple Store in Emeryville, near Oakland, California.

Authorities said more than 50 phones were taken from displays, valued at over $49,000. He was held on high bail and faced allegations including conspiracy, burglary, grand theft and organized retail theft. The same store had been hit multiple times in the weeks around the video.

The clip is the reason it never died: phones ripped from tables, down the pants, past a parked patrol car, into a waiting vehicle. Witnesses filmed. Police later named him.

Imagine trying to walk out with 50+ iPhones in your pants.

A security camera in Puebla recorded a worker saving a young girl from being hit.

The child ran toward an avenue. An adult with her stumbled. A car was coming. The worker left his post, flagged traffic, and got to her in time. Both walked away.

Local reports put it on 11 Sur near Castillotla, at a shop called El Rey del Ahorro, on 6 September 2026. The girl is a minor. Her name stays off this post.

Sandro Ferretto, 55, was an Italian Catholic missionary priest. He served about 12 years in Baringo County — Kasiela and Mochongoi — after arriving from the Diocese of Padua in 2008.

He later left active ministry. On 6 September 2026 he married Sharon Jepng’ok, a Tugen woman from Baringo South, in a Koito ceremony at Seretion village in Kasiela. Families, elders and local leaders were there. That rite is dowry, blessing and two houses meeting — not a Mass.

They first met during his years as “Father Sandro.” He had gone back to Italy, stepped down from a pastoral post, then returned to Kenya.

Catholic priests in the Latin rite take celibacy as part of the job. He chose the wedding instead of the collar. Some call that honesty. Some call that a broken vow.

That is the whole joke of the video. Not a speech. Not a chase. A man at a table and officers standing there while he eats.

Kodak has a long public arrest file in Florida. This specific “let him finish dinner” moment is circulating as footage, not as a booking sheet that names the restaurant and the charge in one line. Treat the plate as the viral part. Treat the cuffs as whatever case that day was.

A woman with four kids called her child’s father for help. She said their son was hungry and needed something to eat.

He showed up with food — for his son. Not the house. Not the other three kids. One meal.
