Fifty-two came from greater Paris alone. Behind the famous academies is a much larger system built on cramped courts, local clubs, volunteer coaches, immigrant families, and neighbourhoods where football became a shared language.

Quebec is the centre of French-language culture in Canada, but French-speaking life extends far beyond its borders. 🇨🇦⚜️ Acadians survived deportation. Franco-Ontarians fought school restrictions with hatpins. Francophone communities across the Prairies preserved their language through schools, churches, newspapers and cultural institutions.
