🎆 Happy 4th of July to all our American friends! Today we celebrate freedom—just like the dreamers who refuse to let their voices fade. Which one are you?

— 5 Dreamers (the Art of Dreams Come True)

A dandelion, intact, fully formed, standing still in the foreground.
Behind it, a field of tulips blurred into Monet-inspired abstraction, almost unreal.

The dreamer is in focus.
The rest of what people call “reality” is not.

•

Yes, I am a dreamer.
Grounded. Rooted. Ethereal.
I am not ashamed to be one, despite many people’s attempts to bully me for it.

There may be countless types of dreamers.

These are 5 I keep encountering.
5 ways a human voice becomes real.

•

🌍 Earth — The architect of systems. The one who turns vision into structure.
“Money will buy my freedom—and the freedom of my partners, my team.”
But behind success, there is often a hidden cost. Pressure, loneliness, fractures inside the family. Scars no one sees.

🌊 Water — Martial repetition. Silent refinement.
The same movement, thousands of times.
Patience. Time. Precision.
Like Bruce Lee.
Invisible. Quiet. But unstoppable.

🌬️ Air — The pilot of the unseen.
Reading invisible currents.
Moving through uncertainty with clarity and responsibility.

🔥 Fire — The singer. The rebel. The purifier of emotion.
Turning pain into sound, intensity into presence, silence into connection.
Like Pavarotti, Adele, or Chris Cornell.
DO NOT GIVE UP. NEVER LOSE YOUR VOICE.

✨ Space — The one dismissed as not grounded. Too far. Too abstract.
And yet the same archetype that dreams beyond the limits of the known.
Like Rabindranath Tagore or Albert Einstein.

•

The truth is: most people are taught to silence their natural potential and passions.
Because when a dreamer loses their voice, their inner child fades away.

So today, Sunday, July 4, 2026, someone has to say it:
We must protect our dreams.

🤔 Which dreamer archetype resonates with you the most today?

🚀 Exciting News! I’m thrilled to announce my new role as Photographer and Image Rights Advocate at Atlantic Image Defense! 🛡️📸

For over two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to creating images, protecting rights, and preserving legacies, from capturing historic moments for the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to collaborating with global brands such as Porsche and Burberry, while also supporting educational initiatives, institutions and NGOs.

Now, I’m taking the next step to help safeguard the integrity of visual storytelling on a broader scale.

At , I’ll be combining my photographic expertise with advocacy for image rights, helping creators, photographers, artists, agencies, brands and rights holders ensure that their work is respected, protected and valued.

Because creating an image is only part of the story.

Protecting it matters too.

Happy birthday to my mother, Monique Catherine Charpentier Wilk, who gave me life together with my father, Alain Edouard Charpentier, and filled it with love, generosity, and so many essential skills for my human, family, professional and societal growth.

I would not be the photographer I am today without the values she modelled: resilience, curiosity and a deep care for other people and for the planet.

A mother like this is truly worth more than all the gold in the world. 🐯

Aries may be some of the most stubborn, but they are also among the strongest and most tenacious – and I am grateful to have grown up with that energy at home.

These images, created during recent hikes and small adventures in Brittany, are a modest tribute to the beauty and gentleness she has always encouraged me to see in the world.

Photos from Trégueux and Île de Bréhat, a wild and unique natural reserve in Brittany, France.
