Ways to make yourself feel old: Start out your morning by looking at a photo of you as a teenager with your toddler brother and his friend and then realize that the toddlers in the photo are now teenagers and you are now 30. 😭🫠👵🏻

Hello, October.

It’s crazy how much can change in a year, this photo emphasizes that sentiment perfectly.

In this photo, little peanut man was an only child, not yet talking, not yet walking, and barely standing up on his own for no more than a few seconds (Heather and I are holding him up in this photo.)
Now he is a big brother to baby bean, speaking in full sentences (prepositions and all), RUNNING and climbing on anything he can.

It’s amazing what can happen in a year. What can change, and what stays the same.

Because I am posting and reposting so much about Roe v Wade, I feel the need to clarify some of my personal thoughts on abortion and abortion rights and why, even though I oppose elective abortions, I don’t ever feel they should be banned. The real way to lower the number of elective abortions which has nothing to do with banning abortions and everything to do with social welfare policies and programs. It is basically just a stream of consciousness, that gets a little convoluted at parts, is taken at a very unflattering angle, and ended up being way longer than intended. So, please enjoy my Ted Talk. ✌🏻 (Also anyone have a guess where this fat vein in my forehead came from?..wtf)

Happy New Year! We rang it in by coming to the depressing realization that it was much easier to take photos we liked at 21 than it is at 29 (as is demonstrated by the obnoxious sparkle filters to cover up the photos we hated and the last one which was a selfie we loved taken during a dance department fire drill in 2013 in one shot.) 2022 here we go!
