🇵🇪✨ On Mother's Day

Today, from afar, I celebrate Mother's Day in my beloved Peru with a heart full of gratitude and remembrance.
I dedicate this day especially to my Mom Lucy, who is no longer physically, but lives on in every aroma, in every recipe, in every moment spent in the kitchen.

I must confess that Peru Foods was born inspired by it. My love of cooking and baking has its roots in her hands, in her patience, and in that taste of home that only a mother can give.
Cooking is, for me, reuniting with her.

Here in France Mother's Day is not celebrated yet, but my heart is in Peru today.
I extend a huge hug to all the moms of Peru and the world. May you receive back all the love you sow every day today. 🌸💛

🇵🇪✨ En el Día de la Madre

Hoy, desde la distancia, celebro el Día de la Madre en mi querido Perú con el corazón lleno de gratitud y memoria.
Dedico este día especialmente a mi mamá Lucy, que ya no está físicamente, pero vive en cada aroma, en cada receta, en cada momento que paso en la cocina.

Debo confesar que Perú Comidas nació inspirada en ella. Mi amor por la cocina y la repostería tiene sus raíces en sus manos, en su paciencia y en ese sabor a hogar que solo una madre puede dar.
Cocinar es, para mí, reencontrarme con ella.

Aquí en Francia aún no se celebra el Día de la Madre, pero mi corazón hoy está en el Perú.
Extiendo un abrazo inmenso a todas las mamás del Perú y del mundo. Que hoy reciban de vuelta todo el amor que siembran cada día. 🌸💛

El Pastor Chiribaya, compañero de los antiguos peruanos, es oficialmente una nueva raza canina reconocida por la Federación Canina Americana.

📍 Originario de la zona desértica de Ilo, Moquegua, este perro ancestral fue parte fundamental de la cultura Chiribaya (900 – 1350 d.C.), cumpliendo un rol clave en el pastoreo de llamas y alpacas en tiempos prehispánicos.

🦴 Más de 40 momias de estos perros han sido halladas en excavaciones arqueológicas, muchas de ellas enterradas con mantas y alimentos junto a sus dueños, lo que demuestra el profundo vínculo espiritual y cultural entre el ser humano y este noble animal.

✨ El reconocimiento, otorgado en un evento histórico en Brasil el 28 de marzo de 2025, no solo pone en valor nuestra herencia milenaria, sino también el legado de amor y respeto hacia nuestros fieles compañeros 🐾

🍲 Perú sabe a esfuerzo, a calle y a cariño
Hoy rendimos homenaje a quienes encienden sus brasas mientras la ciudad aún duerme y convierten cada esquina en un pequeño festival de sabor:

La señora de los picarones que amasa antes del alba y fríe “hechos con cariño” para llenar las mañanas de dulce aroma.

El maestro de los anticuchos que, bajo la garúa limeña, reparte trocitos de corazón y alegría al grito de “¡Pasa, causa!”.

La pareja cevichera que pedalea de costa en costa con su carrito azul para servir mar en un plato.

La tía del emoliente que, cuando cae la noche, endulza gargantas y abriga corazones con cada sorbo caliente.

Tod@s l@s emprendedor@s de la comida callejera que, con un fogón y mucha valentía, sostienen a sus familias y mantienen vivas nuestras tradiciones.
