Today Policy of 3 will start their serie of reunion gigs, and I wish them all the best!

I take this opportunity to give some news regarding the shipping of the discography individual orders, most specifically for the ones from the United States.

As many of you already know, the U.S. radically changed their custom policies on August 29th, just a few days before I was going to ship the first overseas preorders. All in a sudden, it was impossible to ship regular packages, and I had to find solutions... It really slowed down the process of shipping overseas orders.

Last week, the French post totally cancelled this last possible option, and I'm left with about 10-15 U.S. orders that I am not able to ship for now. If you're from the U.S. and still haven't received your copy, please get in touch with me (here or even better, by email, at [email protected])

I managed to send a big package to the Policy of 3, so they could have free records for their gigs, but the package with about 100 copies finally got lost by FedEx, so this is adding to this already complicated situation. I still have no idea how this will turn out, but FedEx notified me this morning that the package is now officially lost.

We're working on having having a rather large quantity of copies and we should be able to have the records leave very soon. Check with for more details, ok?

Anyway, please, get in touch if you still haven't received your copy from me, and sorry for the mess with overseas shipments.

Hello friends,

In the beginning of the 90's, I started to discover the international side of the hardcore-punk scene through the pages of the U.S. fanzine Maximum Rock'n'Roll... We were using the reviews and ads to start writing to each others, order demo tapes, and such things.

This is how I got to meet that guy named Bull, who was then playing in a band named Matter Of Fact. We somehow started to penpal.

In 1993, I quit my job and decided to travel in the U.S. for about two months. Ultimately, my goal was to attend the More Than Music Festival in Dayton, OH. On my way, I stayed in Philadelphia and in New Jersey for a few days and got to meet Bull and his band, which actually had changed its named from Matter Of Fact to Policy Of 3.

I went to see one of their rehearsal and they drove me to one of their gig with Garden Variety...

Later on, when they came to tour Europe, I helped them book a few gigs in France and followed them for a few days around.

More than 30 years later, and after much delays, I am happy to let you know that the vinyl version of their discography, including their two 7"s, their LP as well as compilation tracks, is finally coming out.

The pre-order is starting right now, and the records should ship around September 15th if all goes well.

There are a few black/white vinyls available if this kind of things make you happy.

Hello friends...

Today the newest and third album from Yarostan, a dark and political post-hardcore punk band from the South of France is available. It took quite a while to get this released, but here it is!

As always, you can get to listen to the songs, read the lyrics (in French) and download them if you want. Physical copies of the vinyl are also available on the Stonehenge website if ever you're interested.

This was co-released with a bunch of other nice DIY labels from Euopre, Latin and North America as well as with the band themselves.

Hello friends,

After months of unsuccessful researches, I think it is safe to admit that the audio master tape of one Undone recording is now forever lost.

Undone was a French political hardcore-punk band that existed roughtly from 1992 to 1997, and I'm starting to work on their discography 2xLP.

I really want to include the 2 songs from their split 7" with Shatter The Myth on the discography, so at this point, I guess my only option is to try to get a good quality vinyl rip of this specific record.

My own copy of the vinyl was lost a long time ago, and I was wondering if anyone reading this would have a rather good preserved copy of it and would be able to make a very good quality audio rip of the songs?

About 20 years ago, the Submission Hold final piece of work, an album named "What Holds Back The Elephant" was released on Stonehenge.

At this time, I had been knowing Jen and Andy (their singer and bass player respectively) for already a few years.

We started writing to each others back in the mid-90's, trading records and letters and stuff and I had met them during one of their euro tour. I actually even ended traveling with them for a few of their gigs.

They were a bunch of funny, clever, creative and inspiring punks, for sure, and I'll definitively talk more about them in a very very near future!!!

A few weeks ago, while trading records with the old friends of Maloka, I was actually able to get a few copies of this records back from them (the story is: at the time I was moving away from Bordeaux, about 12 years ago, I gave Maloka a few boxes of this record, because the van I was using for moving all my stuff was not big enough to carry all the records I had, so I ended out giving out boxes of records at gigs and to some friends).

If you're interested in this old piece of DIY punk history, I have about 15 copies available, ok?

Wow, two Stonehenge releases in such a short time, that's kind of inhabitual!!!

But well, anyway, here's another quick message to let you know that the Phoenix Foundation new EP, titled "Wait For Me" was launched this day, as a one-sided 12" (with the B side having been screenprinted by ourselves) and is now ready to ship.

I've been friends with the Phoenix Foundation guys for quite a long time now, and this is their 3rd record on Stonehenge.

Stonehenge n'a jamais été un label s'acharnant à définir le punk comme un son spécifique et indiscutable. Au contraire même, j'ai toujours été attiré par l'idée que ce qui nous rassemble, c'est pas vraiment un son distinct, mais des pratiques autour de la musique (entraide, rejet des normes et des traditions, critique de la société marchande, etc.).

Du coup, j'ai participé à la sortie du 7" de No Drama, groupe de Toulouse qui s'aventure du côté de sonorités "indie", et avec des gens de Radical Kitten, Docks et My Imaginary Love, et j'en profite donc pour en annoncer la sortie.

Le disque est une coproduction internationale, avec une couverture sérigraphiée et un petit livret.

Stonehenge has never been a label trying to define punk as a specific or unique sound. On the contrary, I guess I have always been attracted by this idea that what brings us together isn't a distinct sound, but rather what we try to achieve with music (helping each others, rejecting the norms and traditions, questioning consumerism, etc.).

That's why I am happy to be part of the international crew that puts out this No Drama 7". This is a band from my city, Toulouse, with people from Radical Kitten, Docks, My Imaginary Love, and that ventures into "indie" sounds.

The records is now out and it comes with a screenprinted cover and a little booklet.

Finger Print was a French hardcore band that existed from roughly 1991 and up to 1994.

Only one video footage of the band seems to actually exist, and it was recently resurected and can be watched on YouTube.

The video was shot in April 1994 on a houseboat in Dunkerque, France by Rudy Penando.
