Hey, I’m trying to keep updating Stonehenge’s Bandcamp page, and this time I'm adding a record that was initially released back more than 30 years ago.

This record is Finger Print’s second EP, and it is also the label’s second release. Actually, it’s even the first “real” release that I handled all by myself.
Finger Print was one of the bands I played in back then. We spent a long weekend in a weird “professional” studio, with an engineer who, to be honest, had never heard fast and distorted music. We recorded and mixed about fifteen tracks during this session, a bunch of which were supposed to end up on compilations. We kept these four songs, which I suppose were our favorites, for this EP.
Most of the versions I’ve seen on YouTube were cut short, so I’ve been meaning to put this record on Bandcamp for a while now to fix that!
The Finger Print discography should be coming out in the not-too-distant future. I know I’ve been saying that for years, but actually, I really want this record to be the last one released on Stonehenge. But the label is still alive, and well, as I honestly don't know when it will finally die, I figure maybe it’s not such a bad idea to get this discography done quickly.
Enjoy listening/reading. You can download the tracks for free in high quality. I don’t know which platform is more “ethical” between Bandcamp and YouTube, but maybe downloading helps avoid adding to the environmental footprint associated with streaming. Anyway, do as you think seems more relevant/coherent.
Stonehenge, more than 30 years after this actual release, is still a non-profit, non-professional distribution list for punk and hardcore records and zines. Feel free to check it out if you’re interested.

Hey, je tente de continuer à mettre à jour la page Bandcamp de Stonehenge avec un retour en arrière de plus de 30 piges.
Ce disque, le second de Finger Print, constitue également la seconde sortie du label. En vrai, c'est même la première "vraie" sortie sur laquelle j'ai géré les choses par moi-même.
Finger Print était un des groupes dans lesquels je jouais. On avait passé un long week-end dans un studio vaguement "pro", avec un ingé qui à vrai dire n'avait jamais entendu de la musique un peu rapide et distordu. On avait enregistré et mixé un quinzaine de titres durant cette session, dont un paquet étaient censé finir sur des compilations. On avait gardé ces quatre là, qui je pense devaient être nos préférés, pour cet EP.
La plupart des versions que j'ai pu voir sur YouTube étaient tronquées, donc, ça faisait un moment que j'avais en tête de mettre ce disque sur le Bandcamp pour palier à ça !
La discographie de Finger Print devrait arrivée dans un futur pas très lointain. Ça fait des années que je dis ça je sais, mais en fait, je tenais absolument à ce que ce disque soit le dernier à sortir sur Stonehenge. Mais ça fait aussi des années que je repousse la fin du label, et bon, en l'état actuel des choses, je me dis que peut-être c'est pas plus mal de s'y atteler rapidos.
Bonne écoute / lecture. Vous pouvez télécharger les morceaux gratos en bonne qualité. Je sais pas ce qui est le plus "éthique" entre Bandcamp et YouTube, mais peut-être que le téléchargement évite quand même d’aggraver l'empreinte écologique liée au streaming. Bref, vous faites comme vous voulez hein.
Stonehenge, plus de 30 ans après la sortie de ce disque, continue d'être également une liste de distribution non-profit et non-professionnelle de disques et de zines punks et hardcore. Hésitez pas à allez y jeter un œil si ça vous dit.
