Whispers of Rebellion
In Whispers of Rebellion, softness becomes a tool of subversion, and fantasy a form of truth. This editorial explores the duality of the feminine spirit one image cloaked in sheer, fluid drapery like a ghost of memory, the other roaring in color and texture, wrapped in surreal layers that defy categorization. Through a dreamlike lens, the series bends time and gender, drawing from ancient mythology, futuristic silhouettes, and q***r maximalism. Each look is a silent protest, a visual poem that asks: Can softness be loud? Can chaos be tender? The styling, palette, and composition blur the boundaries between vulnerability and power, inviting the viewer into a world where self-expression isn’t just seen - it’s felt.

In this series, we step into a parallel routine where getting dressed is the only KPI, and the endless lunch break talks revolve exclusively around imagined betrayals, emotional audits, and hypothetical deadlines.

They arrive at their fake jobs not to work, but to perform. To dress. To overanalyze.
To overthink stories that were never told — because they never happened.

Off Script
High school was a mix of pep rallies, awkward dances, and figuring out who I was—or at least pretending to. I played multiple roles: president of the spirit committee, drama student of the year, softball captain, and basketball state champ. As a neurodivergent kid, I mastered the art of blending in, but always stood out. Fifteen years later, I’ve outgrown that mask, and with my old high school, Springville High (built in 1902), being torn down in 2026, I’ve created the editorial I’ve always wanted—a way to say goodbye and pay tribute to my 17-year-old self.
