🇫🇷 Le domaine Kir-Yianni, dirigé par la cinquième génération de vignerons, se situe au Nord de la Grèce, dans l'appellation Naoussa. Cette petite région se trouve au pieds de la Montagne Vermion, sur des différents sols et altitudes, mais couvre seulement 500 ha. Elle est célebre pour ses vins rouges issus de Xinomavro, dont le nom grec signifie "acide et noir". Les vins se distinguent par un caractère unique, une couleur profonde, une puissance des tannins, une grande complexité, ainsi qu'une vive acidité et un grand potentiel de garde. C'est un de cépage grecs nobles, mondialement renommé pour ses qualités, dont le domaine Kir-Yianni maîtrise parfaitement. Le vin issu de la parcelle Ramnista ("colline royale" en grec) est le vin-phare du domaine, une sélection de meilleures parcelles sur les collines abruptes, représentantes pour le domaine. 🇬🇧 The Kir-Yianni estate, run by the fifth generation of winemakers, is located in northern Greece, in the Naoussa appellation. This small region lies at the foot of Mount Vermion, on different soils and altitudes, but covers only 500 hectares. It is famous for its red wines made from Xinomavro, whose Greek name means "acid and black." The wines are distinguished by their unique character, deep color, powerful tannins, great complexity, as well as lively acidity and great aging potential. It is one of the noble Greek grape varieties, world-renowned for its qualities, which the Kir-Yianni estate masters perfectly. The wine from the Ramnista plot ("royal hill" in Greek) is the estate's flagship wine, a selection of the best plots on the steep hills, representative for the estate. 🍇 Nous changeons notre formule, merci d’y prêter attention

Depuis de nombreuses années, nous avons le privilège de déguster vos vins et de mettre en lumière, avec passion, sens du détail et rigueur, la diversité et la richesse de vos terroirs, la beauté que le monde du vin peut offrir. En 10 ans Vertdevin a beaucoup évolué, passant d’un média personnel à une équipe de 12 journalistes répartis un petit peu partout en Europe. Nous tenons d’abord à vous rassurer : les dégustations continueront d’être réalisées gratuitement, sérieusement et les notes (scores /20 et /100) attribuées resteront visibles sans frais comme elles l’ont toujours été.

👉 L’évolution concerne uniquement les commentaires de dégustation détaillés (le descriptif de dégustation). À partir de maintenant, ceux-ci ne seront plus communiqués gratuitement. Ils seront disponibles/visualisables et utilisables uniquement dans le cadre d’un abonnement (99€ /an QUELQUE soit le nombre de vins, que cela soit 2 vins ou 30). Cela comprend l’abonnement classique, l’accès au site, l’accès aux commentaires/descriptifs et leurs droits d’utilisation. En ce qui concerne le lecteur/visiteur du site internet un abonnement incluant, entre autres, l’accès aux commentaires ne pourra désormais se faire que sur abonnement Premium (49,90€/an). Cette nouvelle modalité nous permet de valoriser le travail d’analyse et de rédaction de nos équipes, tout en vous garantissant un contenu toujours indépendant, précis et professionnel. Les commentaires réalisés avant le 1er Septembre 2025 resteront, eux, libres d’utilisation. Ces changements ne concernent que les futurs.

⚠️ Soyons clairs : notre objectif n’est pas de créer une barrière, mais de continuer à vous accompagner dans la valorisation de vos vins. Les scores continueront d’être accessibles à tous, offrant une visibilité immédiate. Les commentaires, eux, bénéficieront d’une diffusion plus structurée et d’un cadre qui nous permettra de maintenir notre niveau d’exigence et d’assurer la pérennité de ce service. En effet, comme toutes les entreprises du secteur, nous devons revoir notre mode de fonctionnement afin d’assurer un futur à notre média tout en garantissant le sérieux et le professionnalisme déjà en vigueur.

La reprise des scores par Wine-Searcher reste inchangée.

🍇 We are changing our formula, please take note

For many years, we have had the privilege of tasting your wines and highlighting, with passion, attention to detail, and rigor, the diversity and richness of your terroirs and the beauty that the world of wine has to offer. In 10 years, Vertdevin has evolved considerably, going from a personal media to a team of 12 journalists spread across Europe. We would first like to reassure you: the tastings will continue to be free of charge and with due diligence, and the scores (/20 and /100) awarded will remain freely available, as they always have been.

👉 This change only concerns the detailed tasting notes (the tasting description). From now on, these will no longer be shared free of charge. They will be available/viewable and usable only with a subscription (€99/year, regardless of the number of wines, whether 2 or 30). This includes the standard subscription, access to the website, access to comments/descriptions, and their usage rights. For website readers/visitors, a subscription that includes, among other things, access to comments will now only be available with a Premium subscription (€49.90/year). This new option allows us to showcase our teams' analytical and editorial work, while guaranteeing you content that is always independent, accurate, and professional. Comments made before September 1, 2025, will remain free to use. These changes only affect future ones.

⚠️ Let's be clear: our goal is not to create a barrier, but to continue supporting you in promoting your wines. The scores will continue to be accessible to everyone, offering immediate visibility. 🇫🇷L'histoire du Château Thénac, situé en dans la région de Bergerac, commence en 12ème siècle, c'était un prieuré bénédictin qui se trouvait sur l'emplacement de l'actuel château. Probablement, les moines ont repéré ici un terroir favorable pour la viticulture. L'église et le monastère ont été détruits au 17ème siècle, mais le château a gardé quelques vestiges de l'époque de sa prospérité. En 2001 Thénac a été acquis par la famille Shvidler, qui a démarré des importantes rénovations du château et de sa partie technique, ainsi qu'acquisition des nouvelles parcelles. Le terroir de Thénac est une mosaïque de sols et d'expositions. On y trouve du silex, des zones argileuses et calcaires, des différentes altitudes qui génèrent des courants d'air, protégeant les vignes des gelées et de la chaleur. L'encépagement est composé du Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc et Malbec, ainsi que de cépages blancs Sauvignon, Sémillon et Muscadelle. Le grand vin rouge du château représente l'image du terroir de Bergerac et l'excellence du Château Thénac. 🇬🇧 The history of Château Thénac, located in the Bergerac region, begins in the 12th century. It was a Benedictine priory located on the site of the current château. The monks likely identified here a favorable terroir for viticulture. The church and monastery were destroyed in the 17th century, but there are some vestiges in the château remaining from the time of prosperity. In 2001, Thénac was acquired by the Shvidler family, who began major renovations to the château and its technical facilities, as well as acquiring new plots. The Thénac terroir is a mosaic of soils and exposures. There are flint, clay and limestone areas, different altitudes that generate air currents, protecting the vines from frost and heat. The grape varieties are composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, as well as white grape varieties Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. The great red wine of the château represents the image of the Bergerac terroir and the excellence of Château Thénac. ✨ ÖTW - Österreichische Traditionsweingüter Single Vineyard Summit 2025 – Schloss Grafenegg ✨
A unique event in the Austrian wine scene, set in an extraordinary location: Schloss Grafenegg. Its 32-hectare park combines elements of historic garden design, botany, and contemporary art, and is home to more than 2,000 trees — some centuries-old and rare.
In the auditorium, through a “silent tasting” format, we sampled over 350 wines from the “Erste Lagen”, the crus that best express Austria’s terroir. From the elegant Grüner Veltliners and Rieslings of the Danube, to the intense reds of Carnuntum and Thermenregion, and including guest regions such as Wachau, Eisenberg, and Styria, the diversity of styles and interpretations was truly impressive.

🇫🇷Seneca Lake fait partie du groupe de lacs, Finger Lakes, d'une forme allongée, qui leur a donné leur nom, ainsi que le nom à toute une région viticole située dans l'état de New York. Les sols limoneux avec une importante composante graveleuse ont été formés perdant le dernier âge de glace, ainsi que les coteaux inclinés, des altitudes et la proximité de l'eau, composent un microclimat particulier et un terroir unique.

La famille Osmote, qui possède un petit domaine avec le même nom, a choisi une approche naturelle de la vinification et la viticulture, qui permettrait au terroir de s'exprimer pleinement dans les raisins. Le domaine faisait d'abord partie d'une plus grande structure, mais en 2020 la famille Osmote a décidé d'être indépendante. Elle a commencé par créer sa propre infrastructure et tout ce qui est nécessaire pour la vinification à partir d'un ancien garage. En 2024 ses premières vignes, y compris les cépages hybrides Aromelle et Marquette ont été plantées. Aujourd'hui, le domaine a pour l'objectif d'élargir les plantations de cépages hybrides afin de mener une viticulture avec le moins d'interventions possible. 🇬🇧Seneca Lake is part of the Finger Lakes group of lakes, each elongated in shape, which gives it its name, as well as that of an entire winegrowing region located in New York State. The loamy soils with a significant gravelly component were formed during the last ice age, along with the sloping hillsides, high elevations, and proximity to water, creating a unique microclimate and terroir.

The Osmote family, who own a small estate of the same name, have chosen a natural approach to winemaking and viticulture, allowing the terroir to fully express itself in the grapes. The estate was initially part of a larger structure, but in 2020 the Osmote family decided to branch out on their own. They began by creating their own infrastructure and everything needed for winemaking from a former garage. In 2024, its first vines, including the hybrid Aromelle and Marquette grape varieties, were planted. Today, the estate aims to expand its hybrid grape plantings in order to cultivate viticulture with as little intervention as possible.
